"Very good experience. Called front desk with TV problem and service man was there within 5 minutes and solved problem. Room clean and room quiet even though by elevator. Would stay again."

Carthage is a fine town. Having being born here and raised here, I am somewhat biased but it has a lot going on for it. It has excellent schools, Texas Country Music Hall of Fame and with nearby Shreveport, it's in striking distance of casinos.

Carthage is a sleepy little town with very little to do. However, there are a few good restaurants, and if you like the outdoors and/or fishing, it's a great place to stay.
