The only good thing about our stay was the location. Close enough to walk everywhere but far enough so there wasn’t any noise. we arrived a little before our check in time of 3 but the actual unit was not available until closer to 4. Reason being that it was still being cleaned. I’m not sure what they were cleaning because the apartment was filthy. It had to have been weeks since the last time anyone dusted. There was long black hairs in the shower. The towels were musty and smelled rancid. The “king” sized bed was 2 twin mattresses pushed together. The stools didnt fit & broken.I showered when we arrived & took a short nap before heading out. When I got up my eye & lip felt a little puffy. I hadn’t eaten anything so it wasn’t a good allergy. The next day I woke up & both of my eyes were very noticeably swollen. I immediately messaged the host but did not hear back from him for well over 12 hours. When he did finally message back he said he would move us to another apartment but gave no further details. The following day my eyes were even more swollen. I messaged the host to follow up but again no response until hours later. Fearing for my health I booked another stay. The host finally responded and told me he had another apartment for us but it was a little too late. The security guard called called him on speaker so my spouse could speak to him about refunding the rest of our stay and he very nastily told the guard to never put him on the phone like that with guests..
