"A perfect location to explore and enjoy Marseille. A really lovely apartment -perfect for our first holiday abroad … yes, there are stairs but a few minutes on leaving the apartment you are standing in the beautiful old port.. springboard to local bars and restaurants, boat trips and hill climbs to amazingly sited churches.. spending a delightful evening watching the sunset at the entrance to the harbour.. it was so easy with a lovely ‘home’ to return to.. "Met by agent on arrival who gave us the lowdown on the accommodation and local amenities. Excellent location in the heart of the city a few yards from the old port. accommodation perfect for our needs, well stocked kitchen (utensils) which lead to a outside living area, protected from the frequent winds and sun, ideal social area. comfortable bed and lounge area. Marseille vibrant bustling. easy access to bus, metro and ferry services. Would not think twice of booking again."

"ResidHotel Prado is a good budget option. I’ve stayed here several times. The beds are a little tired but I like the fact that the rooms have kitchenettes, bathrooms are renovated nicely with great water pressure for the showers. I enjoy it’s location, it’s secure, the neighborhood is safe with several public transit options to get around the city and bus connection to all of the beaches, and it’s a quieter option than staying in the center which is easy to get to on foot, tram or metro."

"Great accommodations. Super clean and above average staff. English speaking staff, very helpful. Easy walk down to the port. Metro a few steps away. Some issues with litter around the area but not a big deal. We were 2 retired women and felt very safe at all times. "

"My stay was great. The reception staff are exceedingly friendly, I couldn’t fault the cleanliness, the only minor drawback was the location, which, while be very convenient, located only 5 minutes away from “Gare Saint Charles”, (the station which has the connecting bus to the airport) was in a slightly disputably area. However I am from rural England so any city to me is disreputable, I’m sure anybody from London would have no issue at all (it’s also only 20 minutes walk from the old port). Would recommend this hotel to anybody who asked, though, (and the air conditioning and rooms were so pleasant I overslept everyday of my trip)."

"This is a beautiful, centrally located hotel in a historic building. You’d be hard pressed to find a nicer place to stay in Marseille. Because of the size and age of the building, the air conditioning wasn’t quite as cold as I would’ve like but I otherwise have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. Get a room with a balcony if you can - it’s worth it!"
