"We had booked for 1 night in Ocean Sands but Enniscrone so beautiful & thankfully there was availability in the B&B next door where we could avail of the ocean Sands facilities so we checked in for a 2nd night.. Family gathering but unfortunately 2 couples with very tired & young children didn't get into their rooms till 6pm following an afternoon on the beach ... Overall, v welcoming hotel,couldn't fault our stay & will definitely be back there. Dog friendly which was a decider for some families."

"Our stay at Belleek was amazing. We spent one night here and it was so worth it. We even received a private tour of the amazing antiquities stored here. Our dinner in the evening was the best we had in Ireland. Our server went above and beyond excellent. I ordered the filet that was seared enflambe on an antique sword from the armory below! Our time in the bar for after dinner cocktails was equally well done. The bartender was amazing and the decor was a recovered Spanish galleon that had be added into the wall! This is a don't miss castle stay. My only feedback was cleanliness and some things need updated like worn linens and pillows in the bedroom. A good thorough Spring clean would do it right!"

"The house itself was great. Lots of room and comfortable. They location is on a small dirt road which made it a bit awkward. The problem came with the heat. Had a cold week , low to mid 40s and the house inside wss set at 17.. about 63 degrees. We asked about raisi t the heat heat the answer was no. Heat is controled by owner. So we spent our evenings in sweater and jacket. Felt untrusted. We left several days early"

"We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The surrounding area is stunning and the cottage was a great base to explore all of this. The cottage is within driving distance to Ballina so if you're staying you'll definitely need transport to access amenities. 5 star stay and would absolutely love to come back!
