"We stayed a Liberty in the main lodge which was beautiful and very quiet. The problem was that Hotels.com doesn't give you the room you book in the pictures. They give you whatever is left at any of the three buildings. We got lucky and got a nice room but it could have been a disaster. Book directly with the resort! "

"I booked last minute to avoid driving so much in one day and I was pleasantly surprised! The staff were so friendly. The pool was warm and cheerful with so much natural light and views. The furnishings were up to date. And the drive to Liberty was scenic and you could see the slopes for a lot of the drive which was nice. "

"So my wife gifted me for my birthday at weekend at Gettysburg. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites at Gettysburg. This hotel is located right next to some Outlet stores. There is ample free parking. Checking in was very simple. I checked in in the evening and the front desk staff was very friendly. She told me where to park in order to get to my room easier. She reminded me that there was coffee and if it did not taste fresh that she would make me a fresh pot. Our room was a suite with a King Bed. The room was very spacious with a computer desk, lounge sofa, microwave and fridge. Bathroom was spacious with large walk in shower. Hotel had full hot breakfast in the morning with very attentive staff. My only complaint, and it is not anything major is that the television in the room is quite small for the size of the room. Other than that, I will definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you are in Gettysburg. The Hotel is close to the center of town and to all historic visiting areas."
