"We had never been to this part of Ireland. And Kinsale is a lovely area to stay around. Denise and Darlene - the delightful twin sister hosts could not have been more helpful. They were always attentive and informative but never intrusive. The property - restored by the sisters to its former glory is beautiful. "My husband and I and 1 and 5 year old stayed with 2 other families. This house was fantastic. The top bedroom is great and there was a space on the landing outside for the cot. The 1st floor has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom and the ground floor has a spacious living room, kitchen and dining room with a small outdoor courtyard and a bathroom with a washing machine and tumble dryer. "Two grandparents, two parents and two children . The stairs were a littl tricky w no rail but the ability to close the downstairs and easily child friendly was perfect. We had everything we needed. There was confusion re high chair but woman on site manager got one the next day. Would definitely go back"

"There is not much going on in Fermoy, but it is possible to drive to some major attractions such as the national park if you don’t mind a bit of a drive. The house is very tastefully decorated and well equipped, but it is very small and the beds are listed as queens. If you are coming from America, please note this means full. Not a lot of room for suitcases, but the listing clearly stated how small it was. Overall acute little place, but not really in a destination spot."
