"Its difficult to recommend the property, as it was quite worn in many places, but offered moderate value for money overall. The cleaning of the property needs improvement, as we had to clean rancid milk from the fridge on arrival, which was pretty unreasonable as a starting point, and bathrooms and ither areas were worn and not particulalrly clean. The towels provided were worn, the bathrooms and fitting were old and somewhat dilapidated in areas. Radiators in some areas of the house didnt...

"Location, location. If you don't mind winding down a farm road for almost a mile through woodland and field, opening and closing livestock gates along the way this is the place for you! The house is warm and cozy and superbly outfitted. The beds are very comfortable. The lawn and gardens are bountiful, with canal paths and woodland walks right outside your door. "The peace & quiet here was amazing! Other guests were respectful & the only noise in the morning was the ducks looking for food. Our lodge was dated but comfortable. There were a few minor issues but nothing that affected our stay. So in summary the accommodation is not luxurious but the location & setting are wonderful if it’s a quiet break you are looking for. "

"The parking does say on site but it is a little walk away and the unloading bay is often filled with parked cars so could be difficult getting in and out of the property. There is also no lift. Otherwise we had a really nice stay and the apartment was well equipped and great for our dog. "
