"The cottage is located in an area where you can discover many beautiful areas by car. The cottage has all the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room on the ground floor. The upper floor is locked. It is a bit damp so bring your thick socks. Electricity was a bit of a hassle for us but there was 2 euro coins provided for us to use in the meter. "The Hazel Cottage is a unique combination of rustic exterior and elegance within. The hosts have furnished it beautifully, and generously left a few helpful food items for us to use upon arrival. All appliances worked, the fireplace was a welcome addition, and the surroundings are peaceful and majestic. Though we were only a few kilometers from Doolin Village, we were living in the countryside, only twenty minutes' walk from the beginnings of the mighty Burren landscape. Our four nights here...

"The house was spacious and a perfect view of the bay. The April weather was perfect to stay at this house. You needed the heat when you got up and the rest of the day was perfect. This location allowed us to travel and see places like the Aran Islands, and shop. I would stay here again. "

"I loved staying in this space more than anything! I miss it and still think of it fondly. It’s just so beautiful and peaceful, not too far from Oughterard if you need some cooking supplies, but out of town enough that you really feel one with the beautiful landscape that surrounds you. If I lived in Ireland, I’d surely be back. :)"
