"After our long trek into town from Monterosso, exhausted and looking for a nice stay, we were greeted warmly and efficiently by Eveline. She showed us around the hotel, perfectly located in the adorable town of Vernazza and even made a reservation for dinner for us which was ideal! The hotel lobby, dining area, and rooms are clean and have everything you need. The breakfast was very good as well, I highly recommend the Pensione Sorriso!"

"Great location, a short walking distance from the beach and many nice restaurants. Staff was lovely and very helpful, especially Giacomo (the hotel owner?) who was very welcoming and provided great dining recommendations. Room was brand new and in great condition, including a nice kitchen and spacious bedroom. Hotel's rooftop terrace with hot tub was very enjoyable at the end of the day 🙂"

"The property was located at the base of the village near the marina for easy access to the ferry, restaurants and shopping. It is located in the more touristy area so it was bustling at times though not too loud in the second floor room with the windows open. "

"We had a great experience. The room was perfect for the four of us with plenty of space. The only true downside was there was three sets of stairs, and I didn’t realize that was no lift. I had recently had knee surgery and that was the only part of getting to the room that was difficult."

"Thai was a great property, lovely location with easy access to the rail network. We had a beautiful double balcony corner room with marble tiles, amble storage and wardrobe space. Tea and coffee facilities and a mini bar that wasn’t overly expensive at all. 14 minute walk to the train station with easy access to regional and high speed trains. Situated just over the main road to many restaurants, shops and of course the beach. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection every morning. Staff were very friendly. Sadly, we couldn’t eat in the hotel despite two nights of poor weather. The restaurant was closed, even to hotel guests for an American holiday tour (also staying in the hotel). We thought this was really disappointing and we had to walk out in the rain to eat. This was the only thing that let this hotel down. "

"This hotel is close to train station (7 minutes walk) and shopping street (lot of restaurants to choose). Staff are mostly young, energetic and friendly females. Our bed is comfortable and shower cube is very spacious. Breakfast is great for everyone. We stayed there for two nights and enjoyed our stay very much."

"Great location in La Spezia, just a 10 minute walk from the train station. Very centrally located in the main town area, close to supermarkets and lots of restaurants. Easy communication in the lead up to check in, and friendly cleaning staff. Modern and clean room - something to note is that the shower is very tight (coming from an average sized female). Not fully soundproofed, you get a bit of street noise and can hear the floor above when they move around but didn't affect my sleep at all. This was the perfect base to explore Cinque Terre, wish we could have stayed longer! "
