"This was our first time to Normandy and we arrived via ferry at Cherbourg. We rented a car and drove to the home. We had great communication with the family to coordinate our arrival and they were there to greet us which was lovely. They shared the history of the home as well as shared some places to eat nearby.We had booked a guide to tour the D-day sites who picked us up at the house so that was great as well. When we departed we drove to Caen and dropped off the car as that was the nearest car rental location which was conveniently located next to the train station so we hoped on a train to Paris to continue our journey.The house itself was lovely with 4 bedrooms and the most amazing view of Omaha Beech as we were literally across the street from the beach and we could walk down the street to an assortment of restaurants."

"What a wonderful place to stay and so close to the Normandy sites we wanted to visit. Damian was a great host and was very understanding with our late arrival. We stayed two nights there and absolutely loved the hot breakfast and all the extras. The only way to improve our stay would be to stay longer! With regrets, we did not have a chance to swim in the heated pool."
