Quick last minute beach trip
Booked a few days before Memorial Day weekend. Just a few blocks from the beach. Everything was as pictured and described in the listing. Patrick met us there and made sure everything was to our liking.

Carolina Beach Cottage
We certainly enjoyed our stay. Everything was easy from check-in to check-out. The owner was great, easy to talk to and right down the road if we needed anything. The walk to the beach was also pleasant. Great neighborhood, we felt very welcomed. Hope to be back next year!

What a great space to enjoy vacation! All amenities and things that make you feel at home! 2 bathrooms - full showers! Yes! Especially when you have 4 adults! Great outside space as well only 4 blocks from the beach!!

great location, absolutely filthy + bug filled property
my family and i were so excited for our week at the beach, but unfortunately, this home was just disgusting and not at all ready for guests. the floors were filthy, there was cat hair everywhere, the furniture was stained, the grass was in the backyard was knee high, and we had daily visitors from spiders, cockroaches and ants. when we arrived, two of the beds had visibly dirty sheets (cat hair, stains, etc.) and one of the beds didn't even have sheets. the surfaces and the floors were grimy leaving visible stains on our socks and feet. it was just a real disappointment. patrick was generally slow to respond and never responded to our note about an ant infestation in our son's room (so bad that we had to throw out a pack of diapers and obviously bring him into our room for the remainder of the stay). the bright spot is patrick's friend, derrick (+ his lovely daughter), came and mopped the floors and brought us new sheets which really made the home tolerable for our stay (thanks you guys!!). i take no pleasure in leaving a review like this, but i don't want another family to waste their money and their vacation on this VRBO stay like we did.

Very clean, home was as advertised . The owner checked to make sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely rent this place again. Convenient to beach access, overall a very pleasant stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking to vacation in Carolina Beach.
