Enjoy the most amazing SUNSETS from the Gazebo! This unit is certainly "All About the Views"! Come enjoy this recently renovated spectacular home ON THE SOUND w/ a 55-foot Boat dock! Looking for easy boat access with just a one block walk to the beach? Then look no further because this is the right home for you.

We are a four-bedroom, three full bath home well-equipped to host you and your extended family. This is the spot for the most serene sunsets you will ever see on the island. A large gazebo is available to use at your leisure. You can't beat dinners or cocktails right on the water! (If stairs are an issue for any of your guests, this home may not be the right fit. We unfortunately do not have elevator access.)

The main entrance of this home leaves you an abundance of storage for your coolers, beach chairs, life jackets, fishing gear, crab traps, etc. We also offer an outdoor shower with both hot and cold water to rinse off after a day at the beach. Although our unit "technically" has 5 parking spots, we recognize that the parking is tight and only advertise 4 so that your larger vehicles will fit more comfortably. (Please do not park more than 4 cars, including trailers. Please no parking in other units spaces.)

The first floor of this home boasts two nicely sized bedrooms & a full bath. The first bedroom has a Queen Bed & 50" Smart TV + Spectrum Cable throughout home. This room has a private deck with Adirondack seating to enjoy the intercostal water views. The second bedroom on this floor offers a Full bed w/ Twin over bunk bed + an extra Full bed & 42" Smart TV. A full-sized laundry room is also available on this floor!

On the second floor, you will find an open, spacious family room, dining area & kitchen. The dining area offers seating for 8 at the table with 4 additional seats at the bar counter. The kitchen boasts lovely ocean views. It is well-equipped with everything you need to dine in if you choose! The family room is comfortably furnished with a large sectional couch plus a 65" flat screen Smart TV. We offer guests complimentary internet access during their stay. The family room deck is a favorite spot to enjoy amazing intercoastal & sunset views on our Adirondack chairs. (Fireplace is not operational.)

The third floor has two more bedrooms w/ vaulted ceilings. The Primary Suite is equipped with a King Bed, large walk-in closet, full bath w/ stand up shower & a large tub. (Jets in tub are not operational.) This bedroom also has a private deck w/ intracoastal views + a 55" Smart TV. We recently also added a coffee station to the primary bedroom. The second guest bedroom on this floor has both ocean & canal views with a King bed, walk-in closet, 55" Smart TV + plus private full bath.

There is both paddleboards & Kayaks for you to enjoy during your stay! All are located in the backyard to the left of the unit on the wooden rack behind our parking. There are 5 kayaks and two paddleboards. Please remember to put them away after using and store upside down so they don't take on water. Please remember that we only have access to park a boat on one side of the dock. (Life jackets are not included.)

Just a one-mile walk to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, 100 Feet walk to the Starfish Beach access & a half mile walk to Freeman Park & the Pier. We think you will agree, this is the location that has it all.

NOTE: Canal Drive floods during strong storms, mostly during a high tide, full moon. The bottom level is a maritime grade hallway and is designed for the water to escape when it recedes. Only items that can get wet should be stored here. Please see information inside unit for helpful app to help navigate high tides. (If stairs are an issue, this is not the right unit for you or your guests.)

Located on the edge of the Snow’s Cut channel, which access the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) and the Cape Fear River in the heart of Carolina Beach, this boat ramp features five launching lanes and a separate hand launching site for kayaks and canoes.
EXTRA PARKING
At the 1700 block of Canal is a public parking lot for extra cars. Pay per day
1/2 mile walk from that lot back to our place.

Very nice!
We had a very nice stay during our long weekend to Carolina Beach. The house was clean and the location to the beach was perfect! We did not use any of the kayaks, but there were plenty available if people wanted to take them out. The views from the bedrooms and living room are beautiful!

Beautiful location
We stayed here for a tournament with a bunch of teenagers and we had the best time! Being right on the canal with kayaks and paddleboards available and that awesome deck is what made our trip. Also a very short walk to the beach with ocean and canal views from the top floor made the location our favorite part of the trip. Rooms were plenty big for us all and kitchen was well stocked. Host responded quickly to any of our questions. I have a 3 star for cleanliness because some clothing items were left behind from the previous renter in the bathroom and sand still in the tub. Reported it to the host and they were receptive. Seemed like it might have been a one off thing with the cleaning crew.

The house was just as advertised. The location was perfect. Very close to the beach and right on the intercostal waterway. We rented a golf cart and never used our car while there. The host was very responsive. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Best Sunsets
Our stay was amazing! The house was super clean, well-stocked, and very conveniently located for the beach and inter-coastal waterway. You can see both bodies of water from the house. The sunsets were quite spectacular from the balcony. It was very peaceful and relaxing for three generations of family to stay. Jay, the owner, was extremely responsive and super helpful. Especially, when the four year old locked the bathroom door with no one in it and we were at a loss on how to get it open. 😊 They also had the house decorated for the holidays which made it feel very special. You cannot go wrong by staying here! We will definitely be back.

Great family vacation
I was pleasantly surprised by this wonderful condo and Carolina beach! The condo was very clean and the views are amazing. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck every morning enjoying the canal views and in the evening the beautiful sunsets. Very short easy walk to the beach. Starfish beach access was not crowded and we never had an issue finding a spot. There is a very nice neighborhood about a quarter mile away for walking off of the main road. Lots of steps in the condo, but not an issue for us. Gave us justification to eat more Britts doughnuts! We truly enjoyed our week and would definitely return!

Amazing beach home!
We were impressed as soon as we walked in. The home was clean and it looked just like the pictures. I’m was skeptical because I really don’t like booking something site unseen but this was perfect. A short walk to the beach and we enjoyed the kayaks right outside off the back dock! The owner/property manager was responsive anytime I had a question! I will definitely book here again!

Except for the steep steps to each level and no powder room on the main floor of living/cooking/dining, we enjoyed this house. It was nicely furnished, convenient to the beach, and we loved having our boat tied up right behind the house on the sound. The kitchen was very well stocked; the linens were first class, and the beds were very comfortable. Perfect for young families with no mobility issues -- but challenging for anyone with bad knees or hips.

Great Family Vacay
We took 4 adults and 8 kids (8-15). The stay was wonderful! We have never stayed on the canal side before, and it was a treat. The weather was quite chilly for June, but the kids loved playing in the kayaks and on the paddelboards. They spent hours on that water every day. The walk to the beach was so easy. We had no trouble carrying our chairs and boards back and forth, or sneaking back to the house for the bathroom or a snack. We realized the blender listed as available was missing. When I emailed the owner to let him know we couldn't find it, he had one delivered within two hours! That was totally unnecessary, but very appreciated. The location is an easy drive to the boardwalk. We made the walk into town a few times as well. Getting to the grocery store and restaurants is very quick. Fireworks on Thursday night were awesome. The only thing we mentioned as a 'wish' which didn't even impact us much because we brought our own...we stay at beach houses every year and this is the first one that didn't have beach chairs available. Again, such a minor thing because we had ours. Also, the provision of the kayaks and paddleboard was so wonderful and provided hours and hours of our playtime. And, you can rent beach chairs to be set up for you if you cannot bring your own! Thank you so much for allowing us to borrow your home and enjoy a week of being together with family.

The property was very good, sharp knives (very rare in a Vrbo rental), organized liked no other, many small extras (propane with spare tank, coffee pods in master suite with maker, dairy creamer and sugar). Check the ceiling fans, hard to adjust speeds.

Great location on the sound!
We loved this rental! The kitchen has everything you need, in great quantity. The bedrooms are nice and also good to “get away” from the main floor if you want quiet times. The stairs are not that bad- but best to pack in multiple smaller bags so they are easier to get to the top floor. Jay was very helpful and answered all our questions quickly. We plan to return!

Amazing Vacation Spot!
This condo had it all! The views of the inlet were gorgeous especially at sunset. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax. I’ve never seen a rental kitchen be so well equipped. The whole condo was very clean, and we loved how it was decorated for Christmas. It was super cold over our stay, but we still enjoyed walking on the beach, shelling, and dolphin watching. One of our party even ventured out on one of the kayaks. The owner was great about answering our questions and making suggestions for activities and eating out. We would love to come back!
