"A last minute booking that was quickly accommodated for half term in St Ives"

"We loved our trip to St Ives. The cottage was great for us, as a family of 3. I appreciated the location; on the outskirts of the centre, so you're close to everything but not sureounded by tourists all the time. The cottage is small, but enough space for the three of us and lovely to have some outside space to use. We dound the knives in the kitchen very blunt, which did make cooking a bit difficult, but that was our only minor complaint. Lisa was on hand with support when needed, which was...

"You could sense the history in this cottage, and imagine a family sitting by the fire, and nestled at night in the upper rooms. "An amazing Christmas break with family from the moment we walked in.Check in process with David was fantastic showing us the facilities,We were greeted with welcome goodies for an afternoon tea The house is big and immaculate, the bathrooms are stunning and the photos do not do it justice . The best part is you ate literally on the beach and every morning we took the dogs for a walk and in the evening we took hot chocolates and watched the waves. "Beautifully decorated, cosy and comfortable and only a mile to lovely Holywell Bay which is one of the best dog friendly beaches in Cornwall in our opinion. Shop, bakery/deli and fish and chip shop close by. Loads of great coastal walks nearby and so many lovely beaches, pubs and places of interest to visit. Particularly like all the old mine engine houses dotted around and the local history about mining, fishing. Will definitely be returning. "

"Had a few weeks of holiday left, on a whim let’s go to St Ives! Been before, although just day trips and left by 11am as it gets busy. Still busy in October. The closeness of the property was an easy escape from the crowds"
