Disliked: Cleanliness
Run down cabin
We made the mistake of staying here for a family vacation in Feb 2023 during President's week. There were no reviews at the time which was a definite red flag. We arrived at 4PM to a completely filthy house, it had not been cleaned from the prior renters and dishes were piled up everywhere (dishwasher is broken with a label saying do not use). A promised meal voucher for the inconvenience was never sent from the property management. Even after cleaners came through place was not clean. Stains on the sheets/ comforter, broken chair, broken lamp with large shards of glass in bedroom. Ants crawling all over the upstairs sink. This place has been neglected, do not stay here. Vacasa was an absolute horror to deal with after our stay, be warned if you don't report every issue while you are there they will do nothing to help. We spent weeks in a back and forth between offices until I finally gave up dealing with them.

Unsatisfactory stay
Stayed 5-days with family during July 4th holiday. Great location to access the area and Alpine Meadows. However, several disappointing features left us feeling like you misrepresented the home. By way of example, there were cobwebs over the fireplace mantle. There was a broken chair at the dining room table. The pans were in unusable condition due to peeling nonstick surface. Large black ants were roaming around the sink and general kitchen area. The refrigerator did not cool anything adequately and the freezer allowed ice cream to melt. Very disappointing and although management did send someone to spray ant repellent, as well as drop a cardboard cooler with ice, I was told nobody else could be done due to the holiday. Very, very disappointing.
