"Fabulous location and beautiful grounds! Walking distance to excellent restaurants, grocery and right on prime area of the beach. Food is fantastic and all staff were all wonderful and helpful. Beware of the "standard garden rooms". They are right on road--no protection from street noise:( Bathrooms are dated, but rooms in general are comfortable. Good place to stay."

"Tango Mar is the best resort style accommodations we have ever stayed. And, we have spent decades resort living for vacations. The Management has created at atmosphere of family with the entire staff and every guest. You feel welcome the moment you step up to the front desk to check in. The restaurant menu is diversified with meat, fish, poultry and pastas. And, more importantly, the quality and presentation was absolutely exceptional. And the Tropical Salad is on you do not want to miss. Outstanding! In fact, we had a 2 bedroom villa with a full kitchen- and we never used i!!!! The grounds and pools are well maintained and the entire area was never even remotely crowded, even though they were fairly full. Beach walks right out your front door, and a trail to a waterfalls that drops into the ocean is magnificent! If you’re coming to Costa Rico, do not miss Tango Mar."

"Zula Inn Santa Teresa is a truly special place that makes you feel at home while on vacation. Rotem, the host, goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay possible. The location is perfect—close to restaurants and the beach, so there’s no need to rent an ATV or car. Additionally, they have an excellent restaurant offering delicious Mediterranean food. The hospitality was so warm and welcoming that I even cleared my own table after the meal because I felt right at home! 10 stars for the place, and 100 stars for the feeling it gives you.
