Spacious Home in Carmel; One Mile to Downtown

5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, open concept floor plan with large kitchen, expansive living room, and dining for 10.

The main floor boasts a large custom kitchen equipped with top-of-the line appliances, granite countertops, and plenty of space to create a memorable meal together. The dining table comfortably sits 10. The living room is a wonderful area to relax, watch TV, or visit with family, friends, or coworkers. Three sets of French doors lead out from the living area to a cozy private patio with outside seating, a gas barbecue, beautiful plantings, and mature oak trees.

The main floor also contains four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. There are two sets of Jack and Jill bedrooms, each with a queen bed and its own set of French doors leading outside. A compact washer/dryer closet completes the first floor.

The second floor is comprised of the primary bedroom suite and a separate sitting room at the top of the stairway. The primary bedroom has a California king bed, 2 comfortable chairs, a gas fireplace, a TV, a walk-in closet, and a large bathroom with 2 sinks, a Jacuzzi tub, and a large tiled shower. The sitting room has a cozy couch and is the perfect place to read a book or watch TV.

The home has an attached 2-car garage and a gated paved driveway for 2-3 cars.

The perfect house for families and friends to gather and relax. Also works well for a small corporate retreat/meeting place.

Our house is located in a quiet neighborhood in Carmel. We ask our guests to respect our neighbors and observe the local noise ordinance.

FABULOUS house!
This place has everything you need! It’s incredibly spacious, well designed and immaculately clean. The kitchen is amazing and very well stocked. The jasmine plant at the entry to the property creates the most lovely scent that surrounds the whole house. Highly recommend this house!!

Better than Perfect
So much space for our family to spread out and not be on top of each other! Immaculate, top of the line chef kitchen, with a dining space made for great gatherings. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, outdoors was relaxing and beautiful. We walked to town many times, and always looked forward to going "home". It's a place everyone in our party wants to return to. Jim and Carol have thought of everything, and we were grateful for each detail included in their home.

What an amazing property! Pictures don't do it justice... myself and 5 USMC buddies had a mini 30 year reunion for a mountain biking trip. The house was extremely comfortable for 6 adults and everyone had their own bed. The house has an impressive set of high end appliances which made cooking as a group easy. Very close to downtown Carmel. Quiet neighborhood. Hosts were very responsive and excellent to work with. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, cookware, coffee pods, spices, and everything we could possibly need. The bathrooms included ample towels. The beds were filled with an abundance of pillows and blankets. No detail was forgotten. Wonderful Family Stay--2nd Time!
Our family (5 adults, 4 young children) loved our return visit this year! The very spacious home is well situated in a quiet neighborhood and is beautifully furnished with great attention to detail. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, coffee pods, spices, and anything you might need. The bedrooms and bathrooms have an abundance of towels and linens. There is a lovely large outdoor seating area, gas grill, and even a playhouse on the sideyard. Jim and Carol are wonderful hosts, and are quick to respond to any questions. They definitely work hard to provide a great stay for their guests. I highly recommend this home and hope to return yet again for another stay!!

Golf Trip
Once again, we had an amazing stay at Jim and Carol's home in Carmel. We have stayed here several times, using the house as our base for a family/friends golf trip. The home is perfect for our needs...5 bedrooms, large great room/kitchen to gather in, and a great location to quickly get to Ocean Ave., golf courses, and everything else you would want to do when visiting Carmel. The house has always been spotless, well appointed, and everything works flawlessly. The owners are a pleasure to work with, extremely friendly and welcoming, and responsive and helpful to any communications or questions we have ever had. We hope to rent this house annually for our golf trip and highly recommend it to others who are looking to have a special/memorable trip to Carmel.

Amazing Home!
My family and I came down to Carmel for the weekend for the Big Sur Marathon. This wonderful home was able to fit 8 and two children adults comfortably. The house was stocked with all the amenities you could hope for and need. The kitchen was pristine and the living room/dining/kitchen area was a great place for everyone to hangout. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to downtown Carmel. The owners, Jim and Carol, were prompt and accommodating to our specific needs. We wished we could have stayed longer! I would absolutely recommend this beautiful home to anyone.

Gorgeous stay in a beautiful neighborhood
I was so sad to leave this wonderful home in Carmel! The house is spacious, immaculate, well-equipped, well-cared-for, and cozy. There's a large outdoor space for relaxing or playing games, and our kids loved the "treehouse," which could be used as a game room or yoga studio. Four bedrooms downstairs with 2 jack & jill bathrooms between them are removed enough from the rest of the house to work well for children with earlier bedtimes. The home is a beautiful, 20min hike/walk into town and in a very quiet neighborhood (just what we were looking for). Honestly, everything about our interactions with the owners was wonderful, and we left hoping to return as soon as possible. Can't recommend highly enough.

Wowzer! Don't miss out on this property
My friends and extended family have an annual reunion in Carmel, a tradition for 20 years. We have had opportunity to stay in multiple houses over the years. This home, however, was the best by far. It suited all of our particular needs beautifully. The house is exactly as described. The landscaping is beautiful with multiple outdoor seating areas. The house is also very private, with an automatic gate for the driveway and plenty area to park your cars. It has very easy access to highway 1, but absolutely no highway noise. The neighborhood is very secluded. It is a one mile hilly walk to downtown Carmel. The owners provide for multiple amenities not often seen in other Carmel homes, such as beach chairs, and a full array of coffee, tea, toiletries and extra pillows, blankets, etc. The house is also pristine. The kitchen has a set up like a chefs kitchen. The TV has full streaming access. The beds are very comfortable. The accolades just keep going. Lastly, Jim and Carol are very available to you. We didn't need them at all as everything was just right. Don't miss out!

Absolutely Perfect Home!
Our family was looking for a place to have a reunion, and we were delighted with our stay in this property in Carmel. The house was immaculately clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for our get-together. We appreciated the attention to detail that the owner put into the property, with tasteful and modern decor and thoughtful touches throughout the rental that made our stay more enjoyable. The location was perfect for us, with a short and scenic drive to downtown Carmel and the beach, and conveniently close to all our favorite places from the past. The kitchen was generously stocked with cooking utensils and spices, and there were plenty of blankets and pillows for late-night reminiscing. The rental also had a wonderful outdoor space with a comfortable seating area that we enjoyed on sunny afternoons, as well as an interesting outdoor shelter that added to the unique charm of the property. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay, making the entire experience even more pleasant. Overall, we would highly recommend this VRBO rental to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Carmel. Our stay allowed us to catch a moment from our past and re-live some of our favorite memories. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

A Great Stay in Carmel
We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming house in Carmel over the Memorial Weekend, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The house's location was absolutely fantastic, providing us with easy access to all the attractions Carmel has to offer. One of the standout features of this house was the ample space it provided.
