Overlooking green fields adjacent to the 18th. century Carmel Mission and a beach beyond "Atherton Cottage" is a house that is bright quiet cozy retreat.This spotless eco-friendly cottage has a comfy king Sleep Number bed with Luxury linens, and is cleaned with organic products.Recently remodeled with hand-hewn hickory hardwood & stone floors,Quartz counters & new bath. Also has a "Life Source"- whole house water filter System. Come and be enchanted at Atherton Cottage! The Cottage is set up to accommodate: 2 adults or 4 adults and 1 child comfortably. There is an adult size futon that makes into a bed with a memory foam topper.There is also an inflatable bed available with bedding if needed for an extra guest! The living room Tempurpedic sofa also opens up to a very comfortable King bed with luxury linens,There is an extra charge of $50.00 per person with over two people staying, this charge applies to persons over two years old, per night. Children under two years old are a one time fee of $50.00 and infants under two years old there is no charge.

We’ve stay twice at Atherton cottage. Very quiet, private and comfortable accommodations for my wife and I . Good location, close drive to stores and restaurants. Close to downtown Carmel. Bill is a wonderful host.

Great Place, well described
This cottage was just as delightful as I thought it would be from the pictures and description. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. Cooking here was a delight, with an extremely well stocked, well organized kitchen. The beds were super comfortable, and the garden lovely - even prettier than the photos.

A Gem!
Well maintained property with many amenities, including a lovely outdoor sitting area. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood in a beautiful setting, downtown Carmel is a short walk away. We have stayed here twice and look forward to our next visit!

Lovely Classic Carmel Cottage
This is a beautiful get-away spot. Gorgeous gardens and easy access to the best of Carmel sights. Quiet, well appointed, and comfortable. We highly recommend this house for a stay in beautiful Carmel.

Quaint, Clean and Well Situated
We spent 4 nights here in conjunction with an event at the Laguna Seca racetrack. Everything went smoothly. The cottage is well equipped and close to restaurants, grocery stores and downtown Carmel. Enjoyed our time here and would rent here again.

Our Incredible Stay @ Atherton Cottage
Atherton Cottage has been perfect for my wife, two pups and me. We have stayed there four times now. Bill has done it all to make sure our stay is as comfortable as possible. Location is convenient for golf, the beach, great restaurants and walks on the Mission Trail. We can't wait to come back and highly recommend Atherton Cottage to anyone looking for a place to enjoy beauty Carmel.

A Cozy and Peaceful Experience
We just stayed 2 nights but really enjoyed the cottage. It was cozy and comfortable and the peace and quiet was very appreciated. The cottage has a lot of great amenities although it would take a longer stay to enjoy all of them.

This home was very clean and comfortable. The owners really care about the property and it definitely shows. The view was beautiful and we were able to walk to downtown Carmel. We wish that we could have stayed longer.

Another fantastic and relaxing stay at the Atherton Cottage :-)
Our family loves staying at the Atherton Cottage when we visit Carmel for a few relaxing days at the beach. The cottage is tastefully decorated, always clean, and has everything we need. Communicating with Bill for check in and questions is always easy. The location is perfect; close to Carmel state beach and the shops. We look forward to coming back again.

Stay at Atherton Cottage
Upon our arrival, the owner kindly showed me around and pointed out all of the amenities. The house is decorated with high quality furnishings and every consideration was taken to insure any guest would feel that they were staying at the highest quality accommodations. Also, the grounds are beautifully landscaped. I would recommend staying at Atherton cottage

Beautiful Carmel Cottage
Our stay at Atherton Cottage was everything we could have asked for and more. The home was very clean, well appointed and was decorated with so much detail to make our stay very comfortable and cozy. Perched on the side of a canyon snd nestled in trees & beautiful plantings ... the Atherton Cottage was a rare find!Bill is a gracious host gave us a great overview of the area & restaurants...
