This cozy apartment is child-friendly, accommodating 2 adults & 2 children + a baby. With 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom & separate toilet this is the ideal place to escape with family or friends for the perfect break.

It boasts its own little garden, and a hot tub for use day and night. The furniture is perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying the company.

Cargo's a small village surrounded by the river Eden, about 3 miles northwest of Carlisle. Just a 10min drive to Gretna Green, Scotland & 30min to Penrith, Lake District.

This modern apartment has its own private paved driveway to facilitate parking two cars. There’s also a garden and patio area for the use of this apartment only.
Just off the yard, is the entrance to this self-contained apartment.

Going through the front door you will immediately enter a modern open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area.

With the kitchen, we've tried to provide as many utensils as possible, whether you are looking to bake, cook, wine, or dine. There's an upright fridge freezer, electric fan-assisted oven, ceramic hob, fitted extraction fan, and other standard kitchen goods.

On the other side of the open-plan kitchen/diner is a cozy living area with a modern feature fireplace, board games, and sofa chairs making it the perfect room to sit and chill together. The living room also has a large high-definition smart TV with a DVD player.

The bedrooms are:

Bedroom 1 - Twin or double (beds are zip and linked and can be changed from super king size to twins - if requested), with an en-suite bathroom that is shared with the other bedroom. The bathroom has a toilet, vanity sink unit, bath, and overhead shower.

Bedroom 2 – With a 2-bed bunkbed at low and high levels, with an en-suite bathroom that is shared with the other bedroom.

As you may see from one of the pictures, Four Oaks Estate consists of a number of houses and this apartment all of which have been refurbished.

Some beautiful walks are on your doorstep, take walks along the river Eden to the neighboring village of Rockliffe enjoy a meal or drink on your travels.

Cargo Village itself has a children's park with toys and play area. Just a five-minute drive, you can be in Carlisle and can take advantage of the 24-hour Asda or make use of the retail shops. Gretna Green is just a 10-minute drive away, along the way enjoy the plush landscape.
