"We enjoyed our stay in the cottage although this was mainly due to the friendship of the four women. The views are breathtaking in the midst of nature’s beauty. There should be better signage on the road leading to the cottage. We arrived late afternoon, GPS on but service is not the best. We drove way past the small number sign. "Compact, many small amenities that make a great stay even better. Everything is clean and high quality. Bryan was attentive and made sure we were settled and comfortable. We had the best stay, we can't wait to come back. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are steep and could be challenging for arthritic knees. The handrails are helpful and everything about the place speaks to safety and comfort. The sun room is a place you never want to leave. Its gorgeous and relaxing, exactly what we needed....

"Lovely view from our cabin on the lake. A short drive to Yarmouth and Cap Forchu. Missed having a hot plate to cook on rather than a bbq, but would not deter us from coming again."

"OMG this home was such a stunner! We arrived after dark because of the ferry ride, but when we arrived, the house had subdued lighting, relaxing music and some essential oils going. We both walked in and said "Wow, Oh my god"! And it was still dark, so we couldn't see the view, but we could hear it. The master was so comfortable and there was far more amenities and supplies than we used, but it is definitely my favorite VRBO I have stayed in. Owners really, really go that extra mile and...

"This property is unbelievable for it's location, charm, comfort, and owner. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is, hands down, the best one I have stayed at. With a lighthouse and beach within walking distance, and overlooking a working harbor across the street, it is absolutely the ideal for experiencing the best of this area of Nova Scotia. The owner has amazing communication and provided an exemplary and low-stress experience. "

"Clean and new, uncluttered rooms with all the necessities, comfy beds, easy access 24/7 tea and coffee (although no coffee makers in rooms but there is a mini fridge). Hot showers, great water pressure. No safes in room but property feels secure. Modest breakfast options but certainly fine if you're more a continental breakfast type. And it's included in room rate. Free wifi, easy parking, well-lit. Pool and fitness centre. The lobby can get a little noisy with the table games that are set off to one side. Friendly and accommodating staff. Overall, I'd give it a 9/10."
