"Siracusa has been the highlight of our 10 days in Sicily so far and Algilà Ortigia was a great place to visit. Staff was friendly and several went out of their way to be helpful. We are good walkers and could walk to all parts of Ortigia, the island you want to stay on, and be there within 15 minutes. We had a junior suite that was large with several separate areas. Full service breakfast was good, not great. Bed was very big but not the most comfortable Despite these minor things, all four of us loved the hotel and location "

"Lovely hotel. Really well situated and just across the road from the airport bus. And a beautiful park. On a busy shopping street (but with none of the noise, at least not in our room which was on the second floor and facing into a courtyard). Breakfast was lovely with a good choice, high ceilings and nice features. Comfy bed. Would recommend. Only downside is that there is no lift so be prepared to carry luggage up the stairs. "

"We loved our stay at this unique hotel which was a former palace. The staff was helpful and friendly especially Francesco. The breakfast was good and it was served in a lovely garden courtyard. The rooftop deck was an added bonus. It was easy to take a cab to the city center so we were not bothered by the location which was near the train station. We would stay there again! "Nice hotel. Comfortable and clean. Great staff. WiFi is not good. I selected this hotel because it advertised high-speed internet which I needed for a business meeting. It was terrible- I could not open some necessary pages. I had Zoom with no camera to reduce bandwidth and the transmission was still “garbled” both ways. "
