"The staff were really lovely and friendly. The room was great. Getting up the stairs with two really heavy suitcases was a little difficult but we coped. Having the bistro right next door was super convenient. Also having access to a laundry was just brilliant as we had already been away from home for well over a week and really needed to do some washing. "The staff at Daylesford Central Motor Inn were friendly, knowledgeable about the area. The accommodation was clean and suited are short stay. Grounds were clean and inviting with seating under cover or out in the open everywhere so you could just sit and take in the country air."

"We choose Quest Central Bendigo as we have stayed there numerous times and have always found the staff and facilities to be good. On this occasion we did not have access to two queen/king beds but rather only one and two single beds which did make our stay more uncomfortable. Also our granddaughter suffered terrible bruising after tripping on the landline phone cord which draped on the floor and hitting the very sharp corner of the coffee table. "External to rooms was unkept eg all tiled areas very dusty including large good courtyard and stairs, ashtrays left uncleaned for what appears weeks, but inside roomy rooms they were clean and tidy and well serviced as was the pool. Noise from neighboring home was unacceptable and police could have been called but no staff in attendance and difficult to contact."

"The property is devine when it comes to keeping heritage, the room was accomodating for 3 women, althugh 2 of us shared a big bed. Parking was easy. Staff are nice. Room was clean. i would stay again its walking distance to the convent and main street shopping"

Overnight stay

"Nicely renovated motel room. Free wifi that worked well and was easy to connect to. Big screen TV. Room is compact but sufficient for our needs. It was a quick trip to town. Short walk to Highland Club for dinner. We slept well. Though next to the main road there was no noise. Very quiet. Great shower. POD coffee machine with 2 pods get extra at reception before 7pm if you want more. Staff friendly and helpful. "

Very central to shops.

"Was a great stay and very tranquil, Alicia was very helpful with her communication. very clean inside. unfortunately, the only small setback was, that the backyard wasn't very secure for our dog as she does tend to go walkabouts, but overall we all enjoyed our stay and had a great time and made friends with many of the locals. "

Place of uninterrupted history

"Absolute hidden gem. Property is perfect clean (beyond standards), location and surroundings are pinnacle of „farm stay”, plenty of space, bush walks, wildlife. The most stunning is the history of the place, that alone makes staying here worth much more. I would never expect to be privilege to inside of family history by John and his meticulously arranged albums, notes, diaries etc. Mind blowing surprise and definitely worth 5 star place."

"Fantastic home away from home. Very quiet location (even on new year's eve). Plenty to do and see in Avoca as well as the surrounding towns. We enjoyed our time very much and plan to visit again soon. Thankyou to the host for looking after us. prior and throughout our stay. "
