"Amazing room and hotel. Luxury room with a bathtub in was amazing. Staff friendly and hotel spotless. 5/5 would definitely stay again. One slight criticism but nothing much was the pillows were uncomfortable, could do with firm pillows. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

"Property a bit tired looking however, spotlessly clean and staff where friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with everything we needed although the lighting was rather dim. Small bathroom but adequate and great, powerful shower with constant hot water. Bed large and comfy. Room very quiet and warm. We ate evening meal in the pub, lovely food at reasonable price with varied menu. We also had breakfast, again, lovely food and a good choice. We would stay here again. "

"Lovely real ale country pub with rooms. Very rustic but with all home comforts and little extras. Great view over countryside with cows grazing nearby. Breakfast freshly cooked and generous portions. Used as overnight stay following wedding at Crowcombe court (5 mins walk) but also great for walkers etc exploring the Exmoor area. Highly recommend "

"Perfect hotel in a perfect place . Stayed two nights for a music festival which was a ten minute walk along the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Next time I visit, I will book again."

"The family rooms more like an apartment were excellent. Everything you needed in the room including dvds for the kids. The host was brilliant and locals in the bar were welcoming. The location and setting lovely. Would recommend to stopping here"

"Delightful inn with lovely views across the river and surrounding countryside. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room, although compact, had everything we needed with ample storage for a few days clothing, a comfortable bed and tea & coffee facilities. The ensuite had a good, but not spacious, shower, however, the window was clear glass without a blind and it did feel like you were a little exposed when using the bathroom. "Nice comfortable room with adequate facilities in room. Not a lover of toilet brushes and the one in the bathroom was sitting in goodness knows what and noticed it as soon as entered the bathroom as the holder was clear - not nice. No tv remote in room and to be fair we didn’t request one during the stay as we got back late and didn’t notice until ready for bed and would have had to walk into the bar area! "

"The Rockford is a real gem. So welcoming, quaint and in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly nothing was too much trouble, the room we had was really comfortable and clean. Breakfast, which was included in the price of our room was just delicious. We want to visit again! Thank you for a lovely stay!!"

"On October half term we stayed at the lovely cottage and we all had an amazing time. It was the perfect getaway. Everything was as described in the website. Diane is very friendly and the cottage is beautiful. We felt like home. I would definitely recommend staying here. "
