We did no cooking but we did microwave a few things. Basically we stayed pretty much with family in Birdseye. It rained the whole time.We loved tge cabin it was perfect for what we wanted we will stay here again"

"Beautiful property on the Ohio river. We visited 2 state parks that are less than an hour away. We had a fire every night and enjoyed the barge traffic. Sunrise on the river was magical."

"Wonderful place to getaway from the city. My family spent Thanksgiving here. The owner notified us our cabin was having issues with wifi so she upgraded us to a bigger one with a hot tub. The wifi was still a bit touch and go at first but it was raining and they use satellite. Make sure to print out directions so you can get in and out with ease. Cell reception is almost none existent. But if your trying to get away , you have found the perfect spot! "

"The cabin was ready for us with all we needed for a quiet ,relaxing weekend in a beautiful setting. Very convenient location to trails and surrounding small towns for restaurants. Tom was a wonderful host. Very welcoming and ready to help with any/ all questions. My husband and Tom had shared interests so fun, welcomed conversations.Great weekend!
