"The staff at the Angel are always really helpful and welcoming. It's a lovely building to visit and the rooms can vary but are always decent, clean and comfortable at the very least. Breakfast is good. I stay here when I can!"

The people here are so friendly, and just 15 minutes from the lodge is Caerphilly, and it is a beautiful valley with an amazing castle! Public transportation here is fantastic.

Cardiff overall is up and coming these days. Still tough to find anywhere decent serving dinner at 11pm on a Wednesday but lots of option inside more a normal timeframe.
