We went visiting to Wales to see family 6 hours drive , the room was very comfortable but the dining experience wasn't good I explained to reception before leaving some of the food wasn't edible to eat We had spent over 200.00 on drinks and food he just said ohhhh I will tell the chef No customer service at all very rude

the Heritage park hotel is in need of refurbishment and care to enhance the stay. Mouldy furniture, urine soaked floor and raw food were some of the less desirable moments of my stay. Bar was well stocked and the staff were very friendly in this section. If you’re looking for an affordable stop off night, the hotel may service what you need. If looking for something more I’d look elsewhere.

Very run down and dated, room had a damp smell and could do with a bit of updating. Saying that the location was nice, the beds comfy, staff friendly and for the price I paid I wasn't expecting the ritz. Get what you pay for and overall certainly not unhappy with the stay

Disappointing stay for the price paid. Tired bedroom, carpet, bathroom. Only 1 bath towel for 2 people no hand towel. Checked in late so too tired to complain. No explanation about breakfast or check out. Decent breakfast but had to order fried eggs which wasn't explained until after plated everything

Very dated, not a 4 star. 3 maybe, 2 star if you take away how lovely the staff are. Rooms are dated. Stairs smell damp and carpet is ruined

I was in a ground floor room and assume they had some recent flooding - corridor to the rooms smelled musty, a lot of mould around the tiles in the bathroom - towels and bed linen felt damp. On the plus side though, evening meal was good as was the breakfast.

The public areas are fine. Decent bar and restaurant. The food was good, both breakfast and dinner. But the rooms are very dated and in need of refreshment. The bathroom was dreadful. The shower over the bath was poor. The shower curtain was continously wet and made the whole room damp and smelly. The television didn't work and had to be replaced.

Comfortable stay.
Comfortable stay. Good night sleep. Room was spacious and clean. Only personal criticism is that the bed could do with a mattress topper and a mattress proctor and considering it was a king size bed there was only 3 pillow which were really soft.

Hotel is very old and worn and felt a bit dirty. There was a function on that they didn't tell us about which had really loud music playing until midnight which kept us awake. Then once the party had ended there were lots of drunk people shouting in the corridor. When we checked in we asked if we could have an extra 30 minutes on our checkout time but were told it would cost £10. Felt very unfair seeing as the room wasn't cheap anyway and we had lost a load of sleep due to the party. This hotel is overpriced for what it is, definitely not worth the money, and didn't seem to care about it's guests. I definitely would not stay here again.
