Neighbourhood description:
We are located in Pontcanna which is a trendy and stylish part of Cardiff. The townhouse is perfectly situated near beautiful parks in a friendly residential area. Access to Llandaff Fields is as the bottom of our street so not far to go to get to green space and trees galore! You will be spoilt for choice with eating and drinking places in the area. There's so much to do in Pontcanna and nearby Canton, you may not even make it into Cardiff City Centre. Locally you can find Chapter Arts Centre which has a cinema, theatre, gallery and an amazing cafe and bar. Llandaff Fields which is right next to the house is the home of the Cardiff Par Run so you can join in if you are visiting over the weekend.
Getting around:
We would suggest walking, the walk to the City Centre itself is though the parks so its pretty scenic and you end up at Cardiff Castle, the gateway to the City. Local buses run in the area and if you want to explore further Cardiff Train Station is a 40min walk or taxi ride away.
Guest Access:
We would suggest walking in the local area, we are located very close to some beautiful parks.
We are also a short walk away from cafes and restaurants in pontcanna. Local shops and deli's are useful to buy supplies, of if you don't fancy cooking head to our local pubs - The Conway or The Pontcanna Inn. There's also a great pizza place called Cafe Castan in the park car park right next to the house.
Parking:
There is limited street parking available in our street, it's a tiny road and most of the spaces are for residents only (please see signage and road markings for info), so unless you find a non-resident space we don't suggest you park there as the traffic wardens are around. In the surrounding streets the majority is permit parking for residents so we would suggest using the two public chargeable car parks which are a two minute walk from the house - Pontcanna Fields Car Park and Llandaff Fields Car Park. Some free spaces available at times on Fields Park road, so you can check there before finding paid parking.

Other Things to Note:
We are in a residential area and have great neighbours who we like and get on with really well so respectfully ask that you keep noise to a minimum and don't have parties and large gatherings.
Please take care on the decking outside the garden room, it needs some attention and is uneven and needs repairing in places.
The twin bedroom window opens from the bottom at sill level and is usually unlocked, if you would like to lock it if children are using that bedroom, then feel free - a key is available and should be in one of the upstairs bedrooms.
