A really lovely independent option
This is a great family run Italian restaurant with some very comfortable rooms above this. The food and staff were lovely and it was a good distance from the city centre.

Really friendly. It was a nice, clean room with very comfortable beds. It's a shame they don't offer a breakfast option. Would recommend and stay here again.

Small hotel above an Italian restaurant. lovely room, very friendly and helpful staff and brilliant location for Sophia Gardens. Only drawback was that the walls seemed a bit thin and you could hear what was going on above you and especially downstairs in the restaurant when they were moving tables in the morning. Would highly recommend though.

The room was clean and comfortable and very accessible to Bute Park, restaurants, cafes and the city centre. The owners were super helpful and looked after me very well. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again if ever I was in Cardiff.

Really lovely hotel, stayed in the Coach House, lovely decor and surroundings, very pretty court yard. We found the bed a little bit uncomfortable as it was very soft. We were wishing they did breakfast, the food in the restaurant is amazing and I'd imagine they would do fantastic breakfast. Lovely place to stay, highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel above posh Italian Restaurant
I was greeted and given a glass of water whilst waiting - as I had walked from the train station with a suitcase. I was then shown up to my room and the host explained clearly about how to use the key/key fob and what time I would need to use the key for the front door when they close it at night. The carpets are beautifully deep and nice to walk on and the hotel has only just been decorated so everything is new. The en-suite bathroom is beautiful and the shower works well. I am pleased with my stay. If I come here again I may use the Italian Restaurant downstairs!

Good location and nice staff. Sadly for us though the mattress and pillows were so uncomfortable, the noice from the street was non-stop all night and the room was very cold. We did not have a good night sleep!

Room was in coaching house to rear of property which was nice and quiet but shower and bathroom arrangements were odd. Room was cold and had to ask for heating to be turned on.

Not a vegan-friendly hotel.
The room was compact and provided me with everything I needed for my one night stay except for non-dairy milk for hot drinks. I asked about it when checking in but was informed that they didn't provide it and there was no offer to get me some either. I found this quite shameful in a day and age and era when we, as a human race, are responsible for the destruction of our planet and are being encouraged to switch to plant based diets. This apparently is still to filter through to service providers who simply do not care.
