"The house was perfect. It was very spacious with multiple areas to relax in sun or shade at any time of day. It was very well equipped and we had everything we needed. The pool was lovely and even cleaned during our stay. We spent many days relaxing at the house but also went to the Gorge for canyoning, paddleboarding, canyoning, kayaking, e-biking (a must do along the left side of the Gorge!) and swimming. "Michel and Jeanine are super hosts and very welcoming. The outdoor area is excellent with well maintained heated medium sized swimming pool. All the important things like very comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning wi.fi and outdoor seating and shade were provided. The location is private and terrific for seeing the region. "We are tennis fanatics so it was lovely to have a private court in good condition in the grounds. Played every day. Nice pool to cool off. Villa was spotless and spacious and all the appliances worked. Be aware that towels are not provided. Dealing with Vrbo was not easy. We needed to talk to them about a French legal requirement for liability insurance and the only contact number I could find was a USA premium rate line. Cost me £35 for a 7 minute conversation and they failed to call me back...

"This is a fantastic villa, well equipped for a comfortable stay in a stunning location. We really enjoyed the area - swimming and paddle boarding in the lake and cycling. Bauduen is a small village, very pretty with restaurants to enjoy. I really recommend this villa if you like the quiet life - hopefully we will return!"

Plein de petits coins cosy pour se reposer. Je termine par le meilleur : les hôtes. Ils sont charmants et plein de bons conseils pour les visites, marchés locaux, restaurants, … Merci encore. "A great villa, very well furnished especially the outside space around a fabulous pool. The property is an excellent size for a family with a great range of equipment. The location is extremely quiet but easy access to the local village of Flayosc which had lovely square and far more restaurants than I thought it would have. We had an amazing time and loved the Villa."

"Good location, very nice pool, and host, who lives on site, has very good English and is more than happy to assist. Property itself suffered a number of faults whilst we were there however. Village has bar, restaurant and shop and more facilities are in next village 4 km away. Good base to explore the Var region and less than 1.5 hours from Nice."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. It was immaculately clean and fitted out with everything you could possibly need including a top quality gas BBQ. While the pool deck can be windy, it is not overlooked and is south facing so you get the sun all day which ensures the water temperature is perfect.  There is an overnight parking lot camping trailers beside the house but it's on lower ground so you don't see it and it was always very quiet. Elie and his wife Manou are lovely...

"A great stay. Would recommend a visit to the local vinyard where there is wine tasting and also a hike through the vines and surrounding hills. A trip to the Gorges du Verdon is also a must with the option booking an electric boat for a couple of hours. For a shopping trip, CAP3000 in Nice is worthwhile with over 100 shops and restaurants. The property was great. We arrived just after a big storm, so the pool was quite sandy, but it improved throughout our stay with the help of the pool...

"What can I say, this was one of our favourite holidays! The villa has everything you could need, great pool, outdoor living, table tennis, boule. Set in nature you can unwind very quickly. The bedrooms are quiet and cool on an evening with air con if you need it. The track up to the house is bumpy however after a few times you soon get used to it. An Intermarché just down the road for all your supermarket supplies, we enjoyed visiting the night market in Carces. We have 2 children aged 11 and 8...

"The property was very private with kind and helpful neighbors. It is cozy but has super windows which give a more open feel. It is located in a pedestrian area so be aware of large luggage. The sleeping quarters are with low ceiling but as I am well over 6 feet tall you get used to that and regardless spend most of the time outdoors in this incredible village. Gérard was most excellent with communicating to us!! Excellent host"
