"Truly beautiful location on the banks of the Dordogne in a small vineyard. We stayed here by chance as part of a longer road trip. We wouldn’t consider ourselves wine lovers but the free wine tasting session was really informative and completely changed our outlook on wine. The hotel accommodation was of excellent standard and the hosts were very friendly. They also make excellent and very reasonably priced wines."

"Small but nice and very clean bed and breakfast property that is in walking distance to the old city in Bordeaux. Breakfast was simple and typical for most French breakfast but very fresh and tasty. Staff was around in the mornings but often there was no one at the desk during the afternoons, but this was never a problem for us. There is some street noise, but everything quieted down by 11 pm."

"We loved our stay here. This is a small family run B&B. A real gem in St Emilion. We stayed in the loft room but the low ceiling was only a minor inconvenience. Appreciated the facilities in the room including the fridge in the hot weather and the thought that went into designing the space so it is completely blackout at night. "This unique property was beautifully located with views over the Dordogne, a small pool which was wonderful to cool off with a glass of wine which was bought out to us. The room was very nicely decorated, rustic wooden beams and a lovely hot shower. The hosts were incrediably warm and friendly and clearly love to welcome people to their house and the local area."

"The proprieter and his wife are very interested in pleasing their guests. The accommodation was quite lovely..........but up a steep flight of circular stairs. It lacked a seating area and a chest of drawers. The home-made jams ere wonderful when matched with the fresh croissants in the morning."

"Julien, the owner, was great, as was his assistant Rosie. It is a truly excellent location, close to all one would want to see in Bordeaux. It is on a very quiet street, adjacent to some of the main thoroughfares. Breakfast was very acceptable too. And Julien was very willing to share advice on things to do, how to get there etc. We would definitely stay with Julien again."

"Warm welcome from Estelle with helpful guidance for local points of interest and restaurants. Shower was very good with hot water operating without any wait time. Breakfast was all of good quality, home made approach with apples pick from her tree each morning, and cooked eggs from her free range hens were offered. Very nice secure countryside house."

"The property is absolutely stunning! The decor and finish is of such a high spec. The communal room is lovely and the pool and outside area is beautiful! "The room was beautiful - but a reminder that 2nd floor in France = 3rd floor in USA. While the room was new and had a beautiful view over the public gardens the private bathroom is anything but - the toilet is literally IN your room, with no privacy at all. It is not ideal. We only stayed for one night so made it work - but it wouldn't be comfortable with anyone other than a significant other. Also - we asked if any extra pillows were available (total of two provided) and the answer was no. "
