"I loved that this place was so small (only three rooms) and right on the beach. It was an easy walk to restaurants, hangout spots and the surf breaks. I was looking for an affordable place to stay in Popoyo that had a shared kitchen but I am in my 40s and didn't want to stay at a party hostel. Wild Waves was PERFECT for me! "shops and restaurant are not as close as is claimed. they need a clearer sign to identify the hotel, produce a card in case you are lost. in my room, there was antenna, but no TV, which is really needed to watch the news and may be movies. it seemed to me that the owner was a bit greedy, which was a pity for a beautiful place."
