"A beautiful property, wonderful and unique cottages. No mobile signal but every cottage has good wi-fi. Maya - their resident dog, a beautiful, quiet girl. Nice cocktails. Food options are limited as they have a small menu, but food was nice. 10 mins from the beach. I'd highly recommend the place."

"Very fun stay at Cotingas, despite the tours we had booked being cancelled because of excessive rain. Needless to say, that was no fault of the hotel but it did mean we spent more time there and realized what a great place it was. Excellent location right next to the town but still quiet; lots of animal sightings, a great view--albeit mostly of rain on this occasion--and very good service from the excellent staff. We want to go back to Drake Bay and do what we could not this time--and when we do we will certainly stay here again."
