Great rental place
The host is great with communication and stays proactive to resolve our issues. The house is very pretty and has great view. There are many great beaches nearby.

Supportive owners
Owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. Good directions to find property and lots of signs in house with instructions. Nice house, as described. Wonderful views from deck, though have your bug spray handy. Research the location as it is a drive to anywhere and if comfortable with that it is a good place to be. Local beach (black lava shingle - shoes required) is close but drive to it unless you are into hill climbing. An abundance of geckos around property; fun but occasionally messy. No BBQ. Trash/recycling a couple of miles away and easy to navigate.

Absolute Paradise!
As amazing as the photos on this listing are, they don't even really do justice to how spectacular it is. The view is as good as you can find anywhere in Hawaii, and we watched sunset every evening from the lanai. Easy access to lots of beaches without ever needing to go into Kona.

A very relaxing place to stay
The home is very well equipped and exceptionally well decorated with a variety of original artwork. It feels like a home rather than a rental. The on-site (downstairs) caretaker, Vee, is very caring and helpful without being intrusive. This was a very relaxing place to stay.

Excellent place to stay to enjoy the paradise of Hawaii
Very comfortable, clean and well decorated home. Beautiful views of the ocean. Made our stay so much better having a place to come back and relax. Some of the best snorkeling is within 15-20 minutes.

Fabulous Stay
Perfect stay for my wife and I, and a friend. The views were just as shown, we enjoyed our mornings on the deck having coffee and breakfast, then at the end of the day, sunset. The pictures were all as shown. Vee, our hostess was a delight. We would love to come back here next time.

Comfortable Home Near Hilo
The was a nice place to stay to visit the Hilo area The owners live next door and greeted us with fresh fruit from their trees . The home was clean and comfortable . We enjoyed the restaurants in Pahao not far away

Amazing place to stay on the Big Island, set in a veritable Garden of Eden. Beautifully decorated, furnished, and hosted, the house is quiet, with beautiful ocean views and spectacular sunsets. We were lulled to sleep every night by Island breezes and the chirping of tree frogs. We loved every second of our stay and we would love to stay there again. Great location too.

Kona Paradise is right!
We had an amazing stay at Kona Paradise. Just walking to the door makes you feel enveloped in aloha. Those 180 degree beach views were as advertised. Every night we were on the lanai watching the sunset. Love the sounds of nature throughout the day. Very comfortable, clean, great instructions and friendly assistance if we needed it (we didn't!). Beach gear (towels, water shoes, snorkel gear) available for use. Loved it!

Amazing views ! The house was perfect for our vacation, two couples 10 days.
The property was very well manicured and maintained, like our own private little hide away with all the trees and plants. It had everything anyone could ask for, well stocked kitchen with pots, pans, plates etc ! A grill for outdoor cooking, beach towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards, coolers etc !!!! Loved every minute of staying here. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing Time in Paradise!
My husband and I recently stayed at Michele’s home in Hawaii and we had an amazing time! The home was exactly as listed, the amenities were plentiful (it had everything we needed), and the view of the ocean and sunsets from the deck is gorgeous. This neighborhood is a little quieter and slightly farther away from Kailua-Kona than others, but that’s exactly what we were looking for. I would definitely recommend Michele’s home to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful time on the island. Thanks again, Michele!

Perfect for our family...
We had a lovely and enjoyable stay here!! The view from the deck was lovely..we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners here. Loved watching the sunset. Loved that there were beach chairs, coolers,umbrella and snorkeling gear provided. We enjoyed being in a quiet neighborhood . We will definitely recommend this house to our friends. Just perfect
This place is absolutely gorgeous! The views, the garden and the hospitality. We had everything we needed. Our son loved watching the geckos and looking for critters in the stunning garden. We were serenaded by coqui frogs and birds at night and slept like babies. Vee is the hostess with the mistress. Definitely much better than staying in town.

What a view!!
The house was nestled on the hillside overlooking a spectacular ocean view. The house is lovely with tropical gardens surrounding the home with songbirds by day and peep frogs at night. There is always a beautiful breeze to keep you comfortable on the huge deck that extends the living space. Great home to relax after a day of exploring. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and great common spaces with a nicely stocked kitchen for meal prep. Thank you Ron and Michele! We loved our time in your beautiful home.

Hawaiian Vacation
We had an awesome vacation in Hawaii! The condo was absolutely perfect and everything that it was said to be. We thoroughly enjoyed having access to the boogie boards, snorkeling stuff, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. The place even had its own built in alarm clock--a big turkey would make noise every morning haha. Very relaxing and definitely recommend to anyone because it is spacious and nice to get away. Michelle was great to keep in contact and the property managers were super helpful and accommodating!

Cottage with a view
Wonderful homey villa perched high on a steep hill offering panoramic views of the ocean, and surrounded by lush garden. Authentic Hawaiian country community feel. We ate every night on the lanai with almost no bugs. We had the same power/water issue that Darla G. mentions in her review below which was also quickly resolved. Communications with the owners were excellent. Truly enjoyed being out of the touristy resort area. Mahalo

Nice house. Far from town.
This house worked great for our two families. One thing we did not realize is that it was an hour from Kailua Kona so every trip into town was a long one. This is definitely out in the country. We found most everything you could want for a day at the beach except for beach towels. We bought some cheap ones at the ABC store.

A slice of Paradise!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home! For us, it felt a little like being in a treehouse in a tropical forest. The sounds of nature around us including the waves crashing in the distance and the unbelievable views were everything and more than we had hoped for. Michele was extremely helpful to any questions or issues we had. We are so very thankful to her and her wonderful recommendations for activities and helpful friends, they helped us create a memorable and special trip, would definitely recommend!

Beautiful
This property is the quintessential Hawaiian residence, the home is beautifully decorated, very clean, the view is spectacular and the hostess is very accommodating, friendly, helpful and works hard to keep the wonderful trees and plants on the grounds in excellent condition which truly makes you feel like you are visiting paradise. The lanai is terrific for watching the sunset, spotting whales or having morning coffee. You are out of the congestion of Kailua-Kona, close to historic Kealakekua Bay and the black sands of Ho'okena Beach. There is an ample supply of beach chairs, snorkels, coolers, etc. We felt fortunate that we were able to find this property.
