"Stayed only one night. Lovely views. Grand old hotel, showing signs of age but we just looked past that. Close to town and the ocean. Also close to main road into and out of town, resulting in traffic noise. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Mare Hotel in Savona and would highly recommend it. From the moment I arrived, the reception team was incredibly kind and welcoming, setting the tone for a great visit. "Pros: Amazing staff. Sara. Loved her. :) The main floor has great bones and could be amazing if maintained. good price. Cons: The rooms. No bueno! They are clean (as clean as they can be with the decades of no maintenance). Rooms need a serious upgrade. But it is cheap and the parking is plenty. 15 min walk to the beach. "

"Spacious room, well equipped for a short stay. Love that there's a small fridge for drinks, and a balcony with a sea view to the side. The only negative for me is the hairdryer - ladies it is useless - take your own! But this is the case in most Italian hotels."
