"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."

"Riccardo was so helpful and accommodating. His place was very comfortable and ideally located to see all the sights on the eastern side of Sicily. Direct access to a beautiful, quiet beach with a view of Mount Etna was a highlight. Would definitely recommend!"

"We stayed at villa carlino in the “Esclusivo ” apartment for 3 nights . The grounds were beautiful, the bedrooms / bathrooms were comfortable and all was clean . Unfortunately it rained for 2 days while we were there and we couldn’t enjoy the pool . It would have been nice to have an indoor hang out area ( living room ) where all six of us could fit . The location is great for getting to Etna and Taormina ."

"Very Beautiful location, helpful rental contact with excellent communication.Not high season so some maintenance on spa ( disappointing) needed and touchy entry door key lock. Single bed a little too hard. Overall the family were thrilled with the premises and security for the Villa"

"Beautiful house in a quiet area. Luxurious accommodation with incredible facilities and a really beautiful outdoor private pool. The indoor thermal pool was an additional luxury great to cool off after hot days in the sun or to use when the rain came. We didn’t pay to have it heated. The kids loved them both as did we. We even used the indoor gym equipment ! Good way to work off all the lovely food and drink. You do really need a car to get to the local shops, restaurants, and beaches. One...

"The views from this property were lovely. The pool and outdoor kitchen were great fun. Lovely garden also. This was a great location with easy travel time from the airport and a good base to explore the area. Fiumefreddo itself was not much to speak of. I would recommend this villa for a family holiday but a car is essential."
