"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."

"Beautiful house in a quiet area. Luxurious accommodation with incredible facilities and a really beautiful outdoor private pool. The indoor thermal pool was an additional luxury great to cool off after hot days in the sun or to use when the rain came. We didn’t pay to have it heated. The kids loved them both as did we. We even used the indoor gym equipment ! Good way to work off all the lovely food and drink. You do really need a car to get to the local shops, restaurants, and beaches. One...

"This is a really great villa. The house is big and each room is en-suite with a good hot shower and plenty of towels. Beautiful grounds, a lovely pool and super friendly hosts that are easy to communicate with and help with any excursions and things you want to do. We had an excellent evening with a chef and waiter that was unforgettable. They also helped us book an excellent wine tour. The location is good for touring the eastern side of Sicily and there is plenty of off street parking....

"Beyond expectations, location, location, location of course with that front row seat view of Etna across the bay but the property itself was much larger than expected from the photos. Lots of outdoor and indoor space well designed clean bright and airy. The host was very easy to work with and the whole process was seamless. "

"Riccardo was so helpful and accommodating. His place was very comfortable and ideally located to see all the sights on the eastern side of Sicily. Direct access to a beautiful, quiet beach with a view of Mount Etna was a highlight. Would definitely recommend!"

"The views from this property were lovely. The pool and outdoor kitchen were great fun. Lovely garden also. This was a great location with easy travel time from the airport and a good base to explore the area. Fiumefreddo itself was not much to speak of. I would recommend this villa for a family holiday but a car is essential."

"It is not what is advertised. Not the area you want to be in. Not the property you want to stay at: uncared, weed overgrown yard, inside old, shabby furniture, most primitive everything. Yes there is a roof on the house... We had to stay 1 night because we arrived late, I complained to Fewo right away - they did nothing - and moved out. I asked the owner (on Fewo advice) to reimbourse me some money and got insulted and threatend. Bad experience from beginning to end!"
