This was a fabulous big room with a lovely pool and terrace outside the room with quite stunning views. The pictures of the room do not do it justice. The restaurant for breakfast and meals is a short walk through the vineyards and we both absolutely loved Clos Malverne
All in all our stay was great, however! They need to update their book in the room. All outdated, including the Spa prices. They say in season their is Dinner Tues and Sat and their isn’t. One thing we took an Uber their and if you came home after hours the Uber couldn’t get back out of the property so you had to walk far back to your room and it is dark and scary plus if it rains their is no shelter. So that is the one thing which is not great at all. The gate should automatically open for cars going out but it doesn’t. All in all Staff very helpful and amazing!
Appears to be separate company managing the accommodation towards the edge of the estate and the main house and restaurant which is not where the rooms are located ( though the main estate house is the only outside view provided in photos). The roomed are a row of terrace type units with beautiful views and a shared pool ( not private plunge pool as stated) between the 6 units. Price is excellent however and walk for breakfast only 5 minutes.

So much potential
Very disorganized check in and linen and bathroom not clean. This was however rectified as soon as we mentioned. Size of room beautiful as is the view.
Right from the beginning I was looked after perfectly. All of the staff were very welcoming, the food was amazing, the spa was excellent and I only have great things to say about my experience at Clos Malvern
Clean, comfortable. Their was left a continental breakfast each morning - very nice but 4 mornings of the same exact breakfast did get old. Obviously not much to complain about - all else was wonderful!
What a wonderful getaway from the Christmas madness everywhere! Quiet, peaceful and discreet. What a pity the excellent restaurant was closed for most of our stay - but the one meal we had there was magnificent. Thank you to all who worked over the holidays to make our stay so special - including Cindy in the Spa!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. The views were wonderful and the restaurant (open for lunch only) was very good too.
Lunch was amazing, except that it is a wine pairing with no reduction for a non drinker such as my wife. Room lovely, but view a bit disappointing(in a dip) in comparison to lunch venue, and provided breakfast in room good
Beautiful wine farm and an idyllic spot to explore the Stellenbosch area. The room was beautiful and we were well looked after. Lunch in the restaurant is a must - the food is amazing.
