"A wonderfully kept home at the end of a short road. Beds were comfortable, kitchen stocked with most cooking items (no muffin/loaf pan but air fryer and coffee bars made up for it), great layout for large families, and did not feel like other pets had visited this beautiful beach home before. Beach access is a block away and the road is nice for bike rides and pet walks. The morning of our last day we had a deer in the backyard which goes to show you the peacefulness you will feel at this home. "

"Very clean and newer property. Close walk to the beach. Very few supplies provided…only 2 dishwasher pods and one small travel size dish liquid and 4 rolls of toilet paper. No games, pen or paper in the place. They provided a small salt and pepper, just not typical to rental homes I’ve stayed in previously. Very nice and clean which we loved. It stormed pretty badly and blew a lot of sand in the pool. They came and cleaned it out 1.5 days later. They were responsive via email though which was...

"The location was perfect! Towards the end of the cape near the state park. Dog-friendly and wheelchair accessible with the elevator. Stairs are steep so the elevator was a lifesaver. Steps to beach and pool. "

"We had a short but sweet visit with Take a Chance. Hurricane Helene kicked us out 3 days early. We did enjoy the beach, pool, and the bay while there. The best part of this place is you get the beautiful beach and bay included. My kids had so much fun fishing on the dock at sunset. We met some very nice people too :) "

"Had a great month at your Barrier Dunes home. The home is tastefully and comfortably decorated. Comfortable beds. Place is well equipped. Love the complex. Quiet, safe, very family friendly, very dog friendly. The beach in front is stunning, can walk for literally miles. Owner was very accessible. We had a few unavoidable issues and he did everything he could to resolve them in a timely fashion. Would definitely return in the future. "

"The property is a great location in a gated community. Close proximity to beach and clubhouse pool. Pickleball courts are also nearby. The condo is basic and practical. We had an issue arise with hot water but was quickly resolved when we reported it - even on a Sunday. We would stay here again."
