This is a large home located directly across from a bird sanctuary and State wetlands. There are numerous walking paths through the wetlands to a less populated beach. This could be the perfect place to get away, be close to all the Cape May Beaches, yet easy to practice social distancing.
This beach house is named “SeaBreeze” because, at any given season, you will feel the breeze of the sea. Seabreeze faces the ocean and the natural bird sanctuary with unobstructed views of both. The view of the ocean is from the third floor and the view of the lighthouse is from the second and third floor. The real treat however is the sunset … Seabreeze is on Sunset Blvd and this street leads to Sunset Beach, where it is said that the sunset is one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. Prior to the sun setting, people come from all over the island to see the sunset at Sunset Beach. We actually don’t move, we sit on the decks, watching the sunset and contemplating life.
SeaBreeze has four bedrooms, two En-Suites, on the third floor with a deck and the first floor. There are two other bedrooms on the second floor. SeaBreeze has two common areas, the living, dining room and kitchen on the second floor; and a family room (which has a queen pull-out couch) and powder room on the first floor. There are two large decks and one large porch. Other amenities are: three flat screen TVs; Wi-Fi; Ping-Pong table in the garage; two grills (gas and charcoal) and a beautiful garden.
Cape May has five beach areas: Cape May (requires tags); Cape May Pointe (requires beach tags); Cape May Pointe State Park (free); Sunset Beach (free) and Higbee Beach (free). All are minutes away from SeaBreeze. Cape May Beach is in town and less than a mile walking distance from SeaBreeze. Sunset Beach is at the tip of the Island and visitors come to watch the sunset. Seabreeze overlooks Cape May Point State Park, its beach and bird sanctuary. The Cape May Pointe State Park (over 11,000 acres) is the home of the Cape May National Wildlife Refuge. It is made up of beach, dunes, freshwater wetlands and ponds and forest trails. Higbee Beach is a one and one half mile stretch at the tip of the island. It draws people passionate about bird watching, hunting for Cape May diamonds, taking dogs for a run, fishing and hunting. Cape May Pointe beaches are a part of a residential area where residents bring their little red wagons to the beach every day and pitch beach umbrellas in secluded spots near the dunes ... away from the crowd.
Ride your bike to Sunset beach or into town. Or sit in the rockers on the porch and feel the breeze. Cape May has so much to offer throughout the year. Soak up the spring, summer or fall sun on some of the most beautiful white sand beaches. Downtown Cape May boasts some of the finest eating and drinking establishments in New Jersey. There are also fascinating specialty shops to browse through. And let’s not forget to rent a surrey or golf cart and take the family for a ride around town to see some of the beautiful victorian homes in town and along the ocean. Cape May is a resort for all seasons.
