"Couldn’t ask for a lovelier view and a more picturesque, peaceful location. Waking up to the loch view each morning is very special. Unless you are very hardy bring a wetsuit and have a daily swim it’s marvellous. (August - September was)"

"Nellie's farmhouse is a delightful home. Very roomy and well thought out flooplan. The farmhouse overlooks rolling fields on one side and Bantry Bay on the other. The home is outfitted with all the things anyone would need for an enjoyable stay and less than 5 minutes from the small village of Durrus. The host, Anna, is very friendly and responsive to any questions or needs."

"The cottage is in an ideal location, just a 10 minute walk to the village. The view is gorgeous. The cottage has everything you need. The patio looking out to harbor is ideal for entertaining guests. Would highly recommend."

The host, John, responded to any questions we had in a very timely manner. John is a wonderful host. "This is a pretty, clean, well-stocked house on the lovely Sheep's Head peninsula. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the TV has Netflix. It's only a short walk to the beach, hiking trails, two restaurants, and a general store. The general store only takes cash. We had a wonderful time walking many miles in beautiful, remote surroundings. The only caution I would give is that there is very little taxi service and only one bus, so plan to bring a car if you want...

"This place was amazing in its proximity to area towns and attractions. It had a great view of the sea, and the place was very clean and tidy. Teri was very helpful in aiding us to the place, and she even had a cake dessert and some coffee pods for us when we arrived. She went through everything very thoroughly and was always available via What's App for our questions. I recommend this to any family/friend group (we were 9). Lots of space, great bedrooms, very clean. So glad we chose this place....

Travelling with handicapped parents is never easy, but the two made my father-in-law's stay comfortable and simple -- Damien went so far as to build a temporary ramp on the back patio to allow the wheelchair easy access.
