Don’t forget to visit the Indian River Lagoon which is North America’s most diverse estuary with thousands of species of plants and animals and the perfect day trip for wildlife sightseeing. You can enjoy the best of both worlds and all Florida has to offer on the river and in the ocean. With just a short 5-mile trip south, you can follow world champion surfer Kelly Slater to world famous beaches and enjoy downtown Cocoa Beach with quaint restaurants, live music and bars located right on the beach.
