Come and stay in this charming home right in the center of Canyon, Texas. A few blocks from everything Canyon has to offer. The home is large enough to have Thanksgiving for the whole family. You are just moments away from the town square filled with wonderful shopping and some of Canyon's best eateries. We are also located just a few blocks from West Texas A& M University. Also, 10 min drive to take a day hike in the breathtaking Palo Duro Canyon, the second largest canyon in the country. We are truly close to it all!

The Abbey House is an older home rich in history. This home away from home offers great spaces for you and your fellow guests to spread out and enjoy your stay.

The house has 1 King bedroom that functions as the master bedroom. The second bedroom is equipped with a bunkbed with a full bottom and twin top. There is also another twin bed with a trundle in the second bedroom.
Off of the breakfast nook area there is another twin bed with a trundle in the sunroom area. The house can accommodate 8/9 guests comfortably.

Please respect our neighbors and observe a quiet time from 12:00 midnight till 8:00am.

Our experience was great from beginning to end. The property owner was very accommodating when I made a little snafu in booking, all communications were great. Very cute and cozy house, comfy bed and great location. We didn't eat any meals at the house, but the kitchen was well appointed. Would stay here again.

Everything is convenient from your property. I had such a relaxing weekend! I was able to get to my daughter's dorm in just a few minutes. It's close to the football stadium and shopping. The house is charming and comfortable. Thanks for being such a great host!

We gathered the 5 granddaughters for a week of camp cousins and this spacious old home was perfect. The twin bed in the second bedroom is a trundle and of course they all wanted to stay together. We didn’t realize that coming in so it was a big plus. Very roomy dining and living rooms and a great backyard! It had everything we needed.

This home was just right as a rest and rejuvenate spot for our Plein air Paint the Canyon adventure. Good nights rest in good beds , plenty of room to relax in the living room. Great kitchen where we prepared breakfast and prepared our lunches for the day. It was so close to some good restaurants for our evening meal. Nice and clean. I recommend this great place.

Great time, great place!
We had a wonderful time. The listing description is spot on. The Melchers have thought of everything with small touches that made the stay so enjoyable. We spent most of our time hiking in Palo Duro Canyon, and it was so nice to have such a comfortable place to go back to relax in the evenings.

The location was great! Close to everything we needed. The house is clean, spacious and very well stocked. Nice back yard with amenities. We throughly enjoyed our stay and the owners were very accommodating. I have only a shower at home so the claw foot tub of course was my favorite!
