It's OK for what it is, but it certainly isn't 3-star, or even really 2.5; it's just really basic student accommodation with no frills. For example, there's only a shower, with a fixed overhead rainfall head; the only lighting is extremely bright, with no low-light options; and there was only one chair in the room. The bed was comfortable enough for sleeping, but the mattress had a very stiff edge that made it uncomfortable to sit on.
Parking arrangements were unclear; guests get a permit at reception, and there are a small number of spaces available, but they were all taken. The remaining spaces were all marked "Loading Only - 20 mins max, 24/7" - but people were parking there anyway, and it eventually transpired that "24/7" doesn't include weekends!!
Access is not too bad but the officially available parking is not that close, depending on which block you're in, and of course there are no lifts, so guests may have to get luggage up/down several flights of stairs.
