Perfectly situated in the heart of Canterbury, you’ll find the newly refurbished King’s Corner. This stylish townhouse is just a stone’s throw away from the Cathedral and even closer to the boutique shops and cafes of the King’s Mile. Fully equipped for self-catering stays, the property sleeps up to four guests and has an open plan kitchen, living and dining room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and free onsite parking.
The Space:
On the ground floor of King’s Corner, you’ll find an ensuite bedroom. Cosy and homely, this bedroom features a neutral colour scheme and a comfortable single bed. The ensuite shower room includes a walk-in shower, WC and basin.
The open plan kitchen, living and dining room is located on the first floor. Modern and minimalist in design, the kitchen benefits from light cabinets and white worktops. You’ll have everything you could need to prepare home-cooked meals during your stay as the kitchen has an oven, hob, kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge. There is also a washing machine which is perfect for longer stays!
Enjoy your meals at the dining table which features a round, glass table and four grey chairs.
When it comes to relaxing, you can retreat to the living room after a busy day of exploring Canterbury. This area boasts a comfy sofa, a velvet armchair with matching footstool and a flat screen TV. Please note there is no terrestrial TV at the property, only catch-up channels.
Take the stairs up to the second floor and you’ll find the master ensuite bedroom. Every care has been taken to ensure you have a blissful night’s sleep as the king size bed benefits from plush bedding and premium bed linens. The ensuite shower room has a walk-in shower, WC and basin.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to your stay.
Free onsite parking is available. Please note the height clearance for the parking bay is 215cm.
Please note that King’s Corner is within the city walls so there may be some late-night noise on Friday and Saturdays, or on Bank Holiday weekends.

This festival is a fun and cultural experience, attracting audiences of up to 70,000 people. You will experience unique opportunities that are only available as part of Canterbury Festival!
Getting Around:
You’ll find restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance from King’s Corner so you’ll be ideally placed to enjoy a stay in Canterbury.
Canterbury West rail station is a 10-minute walk from the property where there are regular journeys to Margate, Ramsgate, London St Pancras and London Charing Cross. Plus, the journey into London is under 1 hour with Southeastern trains which is handy!
If you’re travelling by coach, the National Express coach stop is approximately a 5-minute walk from the property.
The nearby towns of Ashford, Broadstairs, Dover and Margate can be reached via car under 45 minutes so Kent can be explored easily. If you fancy heading to the seaside, the beautiful town of Whitstable is a short 20-minute drive away.
If you intend to explore by bus, the nearest bus stop is within walking distance and serves the University of Kent, Whitstable, Herne Bay and Margate.
