"Borgo San Pietro is in the charming Tuscan hilltop town of Agnone. We loved being in the historic district and were able to walk everywhere. The hostess, Valentina, was so helpful and always available--she even scheduled a tour in English for us at the Marinelli Bell Foundry. The views from our room were amazing! Be prepared to walk uphill on old Roman streets, some cobblestone. The local residents were all friendly and helpful, especially the Town Hall staff helping us with geneology...

"I did NOT get to stay there! when I arrived (after 2 flights- 10 hours & 2 hours drive) no one was there, place locked & no one answered the phone. After 1 hour standing in the street - No Parking available - in 95 degree I gave up and drove away. Luckily I found a Hotel room nearby and paid for one night. They finally contacted me, and gave me their excuses. I had paid in advance for 4 nights! THEY NEVER OFFERED A REFUND!! Terrible Business!!"

"We stayed Masseria Acqusalsa for 1 night while making our way from Rome to Termoli. It was absolutely amazing. This farmhouse B&B was exactly what we needed after a long flight from the US to rest and enjoy the Italian countryside. The hosts were friendly and beyond accommodating. They made a lovely dinner recommendation to a wonderful restaurant in Agnone and served a fantastic spread for breakfast in the morning. I would highly recommend staying there. "

"We've just got home after a really good stay at Casa Rosa and we can't recommend the place enough. Casa Rosa itself is set in a very quiet part of the village and we had a really peaceful, quiet atmosphere. "We added this stop to the end of our two week Italian vacation of the big cities. It was just what our family needed to decompress. The owners were extremely kind and helpful and the house is so very impressive. The pool was great for the kids and the Adriatic Sea is a nice drive through the countryside if you want a beach day. We hopefully will be back in the future. It is a big house for 4, but it gave our family a chance to spread out after our long vacation together!"
