This cheery, dog-friendly cottage in Cannon Beach offers a prime location with easy beach access and walking distance to town. This rental is one of six quaint units in the Hidden Villa Cottages centered around a charming common courtyard area featuring a bubbling brook.

Convenient location, couple minutes to the beach and a few minutes to town it was perfect. They definitely need to take more care in cleaning the place. Regardless the sheets were clean and plenty of fresh towels.

Perfect beach weekend getaway with the dogs
Beautiful, calm, cozy cabin in a great location. Loved that it is dog friendly and had a little bit of shared yard space and enjoyed the chorus of frogs from time to time. Easy walking distance to the beach (and the iconic Haystack Rock) and many local restaurants and businesses.

Cobwebs in the bathroom with dead bugs, SAND in the utensil drawer in the kitchen, hair and dirt on the floor boards. Back of their fold out chairs were dirty and grimy. Although the hot water and water pressure in the shower were great.. the mold and grime in the tiles was off putting. All amenities worked as expected. Maybe upgrade the tv so people can access their Hulu, Netflix, prime etc... It would have been great to have ventilation in the kitchen so the fire alarm didn't go off every time I cooked an egg. For the price and location…I would book again, since the cleanliness could easily be addressed.

Cute, small cottage
The location of this cottage was great. Loved being so close to the beach and a short walk from town. There were ants in the bedroom and kitchen, which wasn’t ideal. The furniture in the living area should be replaced as soon as possible.. the chair in the corner smells of mold and the black futon is quite possibly the most uncomfortable couch I have ever sat on. Otherwise, the cottage was super cute and the perfect stay for our quick trip.

When we went to climb in bed, we saw there were marks that looked like it had been wet and it dried. We texted Vacasa and for almost two hours they said someone locale would take care of the bedding. At ten minutes to 11:00 pm we were told that they would take care of the issue tomorrow. They never did. We put a blanket over the top of the bed and used a sheet to cover up with for both nights.

Adorable Cottage!
Loved this cottage! Amazing location only a couple minute walk to Cannon Beach! Located in quaint, quiet residential area. Cottage was small yet sweet, used pull out couch for our 3rd guest and it worked well. My only minor complaint is that the Wi-Fi was slow did not work very well so not a reliable WFH space.

It was a good stay and a nice quiet location. Just could use some updates/repairs. The code didn't work when we arrived after 10pm and it was freezing outside. Thank goodness the management company was available to get us in.

Nice location
This was a quaint little cottage in need of some minor updates and just some general TLC. The cottage was pretty bare bones which could necessitate flexibility in regards to cooking. But if you're just in need of a place to kick up your feet at the end of the day, you can't beat the location or the price. Short walk to beach (1.5 blocks) and even shorter walk to some great coffee for your morning stroll by the water.

Truly a cozy cottage
I always say if I won the lottery, I’d still take a cottage over a mansion so keep that in mind with my review. This was adorable and lovely. Great location with just a short walk to the beach, the cottage and surroundings were great, and for a short stay it had all we need. If you need more space this would not be the place for you. We read one review that mentioned how loud the frogs were and thy wasn’t a lie! We got used to it though

Great location, challenging Internet, and property communication.
We had a wonderful time in our five days at Cannon Beach. Traveling as a single mom with two children Internet was one of the reasons I chose this place so I could work while we were here. Internet was spotty and the television didn’t work. So after a day at the beach, when the kiddos wanted to unwind and I needed to get work done that created quite a bit of challenge. Vacasa great at communication, but we never heard from the property management about fixing the problem when I reached out on day one

Not a place you can unwind and relax in after a day at the beach
Cute, but really small, cramped space. The living room furniture is broken in, stained, ripped & torn, dingy and has an unpleasant odor that desperately needs to be replaced. We only slept here. The kitchen doesn’t have what you need to really do any sort of cooking, it’s pretty pointless. If you are like us and spent majority of your time walking all day and playing with your little one at the beach, and are tired and want to come back and kick up your feet to relax, this isn’t the place for you. The furniture is in such bad shape that you can’t sit and get comfy and relax. It’s really just a place to sleep and that’s it. The price of $49 a night truly reflects this. Came during a hot spell, and bedroom window was not operational. A fan would have been nice. The place is cute, but really only for 1-2 people max and desperately needs some TLC and new sitting furniture to make it worthy of a stay.

Overall we liked the cottage. It’s really cute and the pond outside was an added bonus. We noticed the tv had no cable but it looked like it had a dvd player so I purchased some dvd’s to watch with the family only to find out the dvd player didn’t work either. There was only 1 pillow cover for our two kids to use on the pullout bed. Luckily my husband brought his own pillow so he was able to lend his extra one to our daughter. Otherwise, it would have been perfect.

The place is lovely if a bit beaten up. The part that soured our trip was the infestation of ants in the kitchen. We could not keep any food or anything in the kitchen without ants covering the counter and anything on it. Really disappointed in the property for this reason
