More like a hostel for down and outs!
This is the worst experience i have ever had travelling. I appreciate that it was a low cost accommodation, i don't have a problem with basic but i do have an issue staying somewhere that feels unsafe! The restaurant & pool area were derelict and don't look like they have been in use for quite some time, there was a burnt out apartment and posters of people having sex pasted on the doors of the restaurant. The corridors were pitch black and there were lone men hanging around. I felt very unsafe especially as there were no staff on duty anywhere on the premises after 7pm. I checked in and checked straight back out and found alternative accommodation. Please look at the real photographs that i have posted.

I got mostly what i expected. But wc room in appartement was so small that i hardly come in or out and i am normal size of person. Room walls need a new painting. Floor carpet should me more modern and refurbished. Hotel reception could be open more often. Wi FI in the room is a must.

Bit of a strange one
Arrived in hotel to be told that most of the group I had travelled with were moved for an unexplained reason to a hotel (also owned by the Pierres Vacanes group) around the corner. We were never given a reason for this and it was a bit of a pain. Hotel itself is a bit run down. The lift is horribly jerky and a bit unpleasant. However, the room was much nicer than I was expecting. Very clean and quite comfortable. Location was relatively convenient - 40min walk to Cannes centre or else 10min bus journey. Supermarket only a 5 min walk away which was great.

Disappointing
I always like to give a place the benifit of the doubt. I read good reviews and bad reviews about this property before my stay. I must say my review falls in the bad category. The first thing was the musty smell in the room when we arrived. We immediately opened the patio door to air out the room. We had to leave the door open during our entire 5 day stay. Luckily the wearther was cool and comfortable and we did not need the non-existant air conditioning. Second there was no place to sit except the kitchen table with half a dozen cigarette burns. The bed took up most of the main room. The Wifi was not working during the first 24 hours but this was corrected and they did not charge us for it the remaining time. The second night our toilet leaked and made the room smell worse. The dampness revealed awful stains on the bathroom wall around the toilet. The toilet was repaired when the front desk was notified. The entire property needs serious updating. The beds are no more comfortable than the floor and about as clean. Thank god my wife took the blankets from our internation flight, otherwise we would have had no bed linens.

Review of the hotel
Perfect hotel in Cannes! Great price, the family room is big ! There is a kitchen, pool, the beach is so close, great energy, amazing service. The only bad thing is the location from Cannes city center, but it's only 30 min by walk and 7 min by car. I realy love this hotel!

Be Careful, this place looks great in the photos, but it is not what it seems...rooms were dirty, walls were stained, odors were rampant, and the staff was not helpful or kind. Stay away if you can.

Not what we expected
We wish we could have switched hotels. Pool is great but the room was difficult to go back to at the end of each day. This is not a hotel meant if you are traveling, but for a in country family to use by car with all your food etc. There is absolutely nothing included. I asked for a hair dryer and they did not have one at the front desk. This is a place to bring your family for a week not a one or two night stop over hotel if you are sightseeing. It is a vacation residence.

Appartement décevant.fils qui dépassent,prises casi arrachées,literie peu confortable,couvertures datant de ...des couettes seraient plus hygiéniques,ménage fait vite fait il ne faut pas regarder de prêt!pourtant l appart pour 3 est spatieux.nous y étions en janvier,la vue sur la cour intérieure horrible ...impression d'être dans un quartier social et non une Résidence de vacances.les gens mettent sur leurs balcons des frigos et autres choses embarrassantes,la piscine vidée comme laissée à l'abandon ...certes nous sommes en hiver...et ne parlons pas quand on va rejoindre sa voiture...on se sent pas rassuré...je ne laisserai pas mon enfant aller seul porter des poubelles!pourtant rénové cela pourrait être un très bel espace!mais vu le prix 80€ pr deux nuits à côté de Cannes à 3...voilà quoi!
