"Nice staff, good pool, opportunity for kayaking and pedalo boats. Nice local area. The loud night time shows could be a problem (9 to 12pm), in this case get one of the huts further up the hill. The phone app is a good idea, but would be fantastic if it was also in other languages (not just Italian). "

"Check in horrible, Sent us to room with 30 degrees celcius. We complained. They moved us to room with air conditioning. Room 3 star type. But thermal baths very excellent. Breakfast average. "

"We arrived late in the evening as the restaurant was closing. Even though the kitchen was closed, the matri'd offered us salad plates that were delicious, filling, and much appreciated. The room was quiet with a nice view. Breakfast was lovely. "

"A pretty amazing place. Looks very luxurious, the restaurant and the meal was super fancy and yet very reasonably priced. We couldn’t understand why the place was mostly empty, but we stayed mid-week, and the place clearly caters to Italians (even the spa menu was only in Italian). The air-conditioning in the room was not very strong and very noisy, but otherwise very nice room. "

"Siamo stati qui 3 giorni, ed è come se avessimo avuto un'altra famiglia. I proprietari gentilissimi, la signora ci ha coccolati con tantissime torte e colazioni fantastiche. Gentile e molto disponibile, ci ha nuovamente coccolati, per il viaggio di ritorno, con due brioches fresche. Camera dolce e graziosa e bagno pulitissimo. "

"What a joke. They advertise all these wonderful amenities and when we arrived there was absolutely nothing available. No spa, no beach, no tennis, no laundry facilities, no hair salon. We would never have stayed here if we had know. When we complained they offered us a free drink! I have complained through the hotel and the refuse to respond and tried to get a refund from Expedia with no luck. Don't go to this hotel if you are expecting lots to do.....there is nothing!"

"We were initially super excited to come to this hotel after seeing pics and it’s high ratings but when we arrived we noticed immediately that we were a burden. The staff was not as friendly as the other hotels and even though we were the only ones there (slow tourist season) every time I asked for something I was made to feel like I was bothering them despite the fact that I speak and am Italian. The biggest issue we had was the air conditioning and the shower drain. We completely understand...

"The hotel was great. Nice and clean and well-maintained. Beautiful areas spectacular views. But the best of all was the service. Assunta stayed on the phone with us until we got to the hotel safely since we got lost. She was so, so, so amazing! Seriously, the location and the view were spectacular."

"The property was decent but I checked out early and have not been refunded. It’s a little distance to the port area and the overall feel of Paulinaro seemed run down. "

"Paulo and family are excellent hosts. Caring and considerate, we felt very at home. The property is incredible and very well maintained. The infinity pool overlooking the countyside is amazing. The.nearby town of Castallabate is nice, and you hear almost only Italian being spoken, which is nice and makes it feel authentic Italy. Grazie Paulo and family."

"This property is in an awkward area that is not bad but not "pretty". The air conditioning hardly cooled the room and was an older unit. Definitely should be updated. All this being said, the staff was AMAZING, the breakfast was FABULOUS, the amenities were better than 4 star hotels that I have stayed in and everything was super clean. Would definitely recommend if not during summer and one has a car to get to the prettier areas."
