I have stayed here before and returned due to the value and quality of the rooms. The parking is free and only issue is parking is less friendly for large vehicles/trucks. The sauna is also a great feature for a quick relax and mental reset.

We didn’t have big expectations, but the room was large and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful when we had a big mixup. Since the lodge and resort are right next to each other and check in is done remotely, it would be helpful if Basecamp made it clear which building you are in. Possibly a map with your check in details.

The #1 issue is this hotel is literally beside railroad tracks. Something that's not disclosed in their description (of course). The room even came with ear plugs in a jar in the bathroom....a first for me. Trains come about every 30 minutes all day and night.

Had a wonderful stay at Basecamp Lodge Canmore! The room was amazing — clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The mountain view from the window was absolutely stunning and made the stay even more special. The location is quiet, peaceful, and feels very safe. Would definitely love to come back again!
