"Everything first class. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Appreciated our luggage being taken to and from our room. Standard room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. "Lovely clean room. Comfortable bed. Television, off room shower which is nice and powerful. Separate toilet. The only issue is the noise of the Docks and the main road. Needs attention on the windows, possibly triple glazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"I was very surprised at this hotel for the price, our room was lovely, clean, nicely decorated and quiet. Not many hotels I sleep well but the bed was comfy and the pillows. Was lovely waking up and going to the pool/spa facilities. Great stay"

"At a similar price to a chain budget hotel I decided to take a risk and go for this instead as this landmark building in the centre of Southampton looked like an interesting choice. It is an old building and a bit dated in parts but it was clean and comfortable and the staff were all friendly and helpful. There was also a decent and good-value breakfast. It made for a more interesting stay than an anonymous chain and was a bargain for the price. I'd happily stay again. "

"The Knoll house hotel is set in beautiful surroundings and has an old fashioned vibe. The staff are absolutely lovely and were incredibly helpful and kind. Observing some of the guest behaviour they also have the patience of saints. What makes the hotel stand out is it's setting. Beautiful views across Studland and walks on your doorstep. The rooms are clean and adequate, they are not particularly luxurious but if they were we probably wouldn't be able to afford to stay here. The restaurant food...

"Staff are welcomjng and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Our room was warm, comfortable and well appointed. The view from our room would have been stunning had it not been for rain and mist. Views of Isle of Wight and Hurst Castle. . . . Plenty of coffee, tea etc. Shower room was clean and bright, with big soft towels galore. Food in the restaurant was delicious and service great. We have already booked to go back later in the year!"
