"Stayed 4 night for business during Jan 2025. This is a pretty unique hotel - it is situated in a very old building (renovated, of course) right at Piazza dei Signori, so location can't be better. We never met Paolo, out host. However, he has been super responsive and helpful over whatsapp. I had a room with a balcony over the Piazza, so great view. "It is a lovely place to stay, me and my boyfriend had a lovely time. The only thing is that the restaurant struggled with catering for gluten free, even though I asked if that would be possible before booking. "

"The Donatello hotel is in a beautiful spot opposite the Basilica, the staff are warm and welcoming. Breakfast has a nice variety of foods/drinks, and the room has a classic modern feel. Bed is comfortable and the bathroom is clean and roomy."
